    We booked a table for three at 1pm and specifically requested a booth, as our young son (who has undiagnosed ADHD) struggles with open, busy spaces. We arrived just before 1 and were told the table wasn’t quite ready, which was understandable. However, we ended up waiting until 1:20pm, standing near the crowded entrance with people constantly squeezing past us – not ideal with an agitated child. When our food arrived, my wife and son's meals came 5–10 minutes before mine, which left me wondering if mine had been forgotten. It’s not great restaurant etiquette and felt a bit disjointed. My wife ordered the chicken burger and found it very bland, which was disappointing given the usual high standards we’ve come to expect here. I’ve always enjoyed Thundercat and chose it specifically for Father’s Day, but unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to expectations. Hopefully just a one-off, but it did put a dampener on what should have been a special lunch.

    Not to be dramatic, but that food was phenomenal. It’s right up my street. I like things smothered in cheese and sauce. The cauliflower wings were so good cooked in buffalo sauce. The deep dish pizza was so cheesy and delicious. All my friends enjoyed theirs too. Happy days!

    We had a great time at Thundercat. The service was amazing, very attentive. The food was amazing. We had BBQ cauliflower bites, garlic and Pecorino tater tots and a BBQ pizza pie to share. Portions were huge and food was very tasty. Would highly recommend.

    Food was lovely and very filling! Cocktails were great! Staff were super friendly and they even gave me and my friend a wee donut with a candle and a happy birthday sign in it as we were out celebrating our birthdays. No one from our party asked them to do this, they just saw our birthday headbands and brought it over after our plates were cleared! We had a great time!

    It is always a great night, attentive and friendly staff, the food is of a high and constantly quality, and at a great price! It literally is the best place to dine out, unless you prefer a quiet dining experience.

    Quick family dinner before Cinema / location is excellent, near George Square, Buchanan Street and Queen Street Rail Station. Very attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food, succulent chicken! Milkshake appeared quite expensive but no regrets, lovely. Clearly a very well run bar restaurant.
