Three Tomatoes Trattoria
This is our favorite restaurant in New Hampshire. My wife had pizza and I had calamari. All were excellent. Place became very busy.
The service was chaotic because a crowd arrived all going to a show at the venue next door. At the same time. The food varied from good to very poor. It was 30 minutes until drinks arrived and two of our three entrees arrived but the third came 20 minutes later, and it had an off taste and was not eaten. Our waitress was very professional but we observed others around us that were not, slapping meals down loudly on tables, delivering food to the wrong tables, etc. We will not go there again.
this local spot is a wonderful place for a meal, for lunch, for a late pizza or before a show. don't overlook their house wines (in the "chicken") and thin crust wood oven pizza as well as all the excellent pasta.
We had a party of 8 for dinner before the concert. Our waitress did a great job juggling ours and many other tables so that we had an enjoyable experience and finished in plenty of time for the show! We were all pleased with our food and drinks.
Food was excellent, only surpassed by the service. Very attentive. Met expectations.
This is an old favorite (20+ years ago was the last time we went there!) and it remains as wonderful as it was back then.
Food was excellent. Service was very good. Variety of food was similarly very good. I "special ordered" Fruiti De Mar with Far Diavalo sauce extra on the side... it was a good batch! (its been a bit variable in the past. You should list that as an actual menu item
My favorite restaurant in the upper valley. Love the staff and the food.
Service was great tonight
We went to have dinner before a show at the Lebanon Opera House, so the trattoria was very busy. We had to wait a little for our food, but our waitress was attentive and helpful. We enjoy the ambiance of sitting outside on the mall. We'll be coming back again soon.
we love this place - a local go to. they were slammed (I don't know why) so we had a long wait. The server did her best. food is dependable northern Italian and my husband likes the wood fired pizza. We find if we order two mains we have lunch the next day.
The food and ambiance are quite good. The kitchen was a little slow but I had a personable server who handled it well. The bread was good and crunchy. I'll go again.
Chicken parmigiana-chicken over cooked, the wait staff seemed to be very short staffed, screaming baby, younger children running around unsupervised by parents.
Great salads, best pizza in the upper valley, and a chocolate cake to die for.
As always the food was cooked to perfection and service was great.
My favorite restaurant. Always consistent.
Always a great time there. Food very good. I had the Shrimp Scampi over linguine and it was delicious. It's not on the menu so I appreciate that they would make it for me. My husband and son both enjoyed the calamari over linguine. They offer bread and garlic dipping oil to start and everyone loved it. The beet and goat cheese salad is very good also.
We were celebrating our 21 wedding anniversary. We were seated by a window which was lovely. At our table we were greeted by a very cheerful young server. I had the chicken parm and my husband a pizza. The location and windows made the experience unique.
Continues to be one of my favorites -- Jenn always anticipates everything I like and Louise is a gracious & welcoming hostess/manager.
Wonderful food, wonderful service! Who could ask for anything more.
We ate outside and enjoyed good food and were entertained by all the activity on the street. A very enjoyable experience.
This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area.
The food came out super quick and was so so delicious!
This is a good place to eat after the opera or after a concert. Varied Italian menu.
Another great dinner! We love it here.
The lobster carbonara was great! Service was very good.
Three Tomatoes is the one restaurant in the Upper Valley on which we can rely to provide great food and good service. We've been loving it for decades but would be happy to branch out to other places if they existed. However, in the Lebanon/WRJ/Hanover area they one of only two restaurants that we frequent and the other one has fewer options that we like. Thank you, Three Tomatoes!
Excellent salads with fresh local ingredients, the best pizza by far in the Upper Valley, and a chocolate dessert out of this world. A great place for a casual meal.
Very nice sitting outside listening to music.Everyone enjoyed their meal. Veal picatta excellent.Husband loved his calamari with red sauce over linguini. Pepperoni pizza was a bit with grandson.Beet salad with goat cheese delicious
This was an affordable spot. We ate in their covered outdoor seating area which is at the corner of a park. The food was delicious, the waitstaff accommodating and we left full and happy.
this is a nice, comfortable spot with good food, friendly and efficient staff, and a casual ambiance. We would definitely go back, with friends.
Great! Food was delicious! Service was perfect!
We love Three Tomatoes! Have eaten there many times. It is a great family restaurant with lots of options. The food is excellent and service is good.
We were vacationing in the area. Our hotel recommended 3 Tomatoes! We absolutely loved our meal. So much that we had dinner there both nights that we were staying in Hanover/Lebanon. We will now always measure other restaurants against 3 Tomatoes as the best. We ordered meatballs and sauce with gazpacho to go! We live in WI! It made it home in our cooler for the 2 days that we were travelling! Outstanding food, ambiance and service! Thanks for 2 wonderful meals! We have already told friends in MA and elsewhere about it!
Excellent meal, well served. good good good good good
It was a really fun place with a great atmosphere!!!
Good service and food this time. It varies. My previous experience was inattentive service (we borrowed water from another table) and mushy pasta. Pizza and salads seem to be the best bet.
The food and restaurant were wonderful. The only reason I may not return is because the dinner prices are so high!
Another delicious meal at this one of my favorite restaurants. We had dinner outdoors and enjoyed the food and setting.
