This was my husband and I first time. My burger was cooked perfectly!! Husband had the buffalo chicken flatbread. Very tasty, could've used more chicken.

The hostess and server were pleasant and courteous. The atmosphere was appropriate for a restaurant within a casino. The entrée that I ordered was good and nicely presented. The young many who served us was attentive.

It was a very nice dinner. A variety of items to choose. I picked a fire-grilled steak and my guest selected Prime Rib. Our server was very attentive.

We love to visit Millcreek Grille of Friday nights before we head over to the slush bar. We enjoy Tom as our server and he is always energetic and attentive. We both have our menu favorite and it's always very sastisfying.

Reservation was for 6:30 pm. Arrived at 6:25 pm nd was told they were not seating until 7:15 pm - 7:30 pm. I asked why did i make a reservation? I was told "I don't know.. The kitchen is backed up and I can't seat you." I asked for a manager and was told she was too busy in the kitchen to talk. I asked how will you reach me to seat me .. the hostess said you will just have to seat or stand here and wait , we have no way to reach you.
Ordered a dirty martini and it had so much olive juice we had to send them back.
Ordered the filet migon, medium and it came well done.. sent it back.. steak had a black burnt crust, and came back medium rare to rare.. I just ate it. Sauteed mushrooms were burnt and dry.
I have eaten at the bar in the past and have had no issues. I think i would stick to sandwiches and flatbreads at the bar.

We had reservations at 6pm. We arrived at 6:05 and did not get seated until 7:30. Kitchen was short-handed and they did not want to seat people even though they had several tables empty. We had to keep coming back to check if they would seat us. We missed the "6:30 slot" because we were told at 6:20 that it would still be :30 minutes or more. Food was great as usual. Disappointed in have to wait so long.

Service was quick .... Food was hot .... and server was very efficient , attentive, and personable. The hostesss was very welcoming and pleasant as well.

My husband and I had dined here a while ago and were hesitant to return because of the poor service. This time, we were promptly seated and were waited upon immediately! We split an order of the lobster fries which were served in a large bowl loaded with cheese and plenty of lobster! Since the fries filled us up, we both ordered the chicken Caesar salad and we both enjoyed it. Our sever was fast and friendly. We will return!!

Party of five for family holiday dinner. Service was very slow, waitress apologized saying they were “understaffed”. We all ordered a steak and lobster special with soup and dessert. Soup was barely lukewarm and not very good. Steaks were ordered cooked medium or medium rare. All were served extremely well done, one was burnt to a crisp. I could only eat two small bites, another was burnt so bad as to be inedible. Waitress apologized when serving them. The lobster was good. The baked potatoes were hard and tasted like they were sitting for hours. The dessert was burnt and hard, overall this was by far the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. My family’s reaction was I will never go there again.

A very nice dining experience. However, we just wish the restaurant would open earlier on weekends. I think three PM on Saturday and Sunday would be well received.

Good place to grab some food while at Thistledown whether you are gambling or not. The food quality is excellent... BUT... we have now been there twice and both times (once a ribeye steak and once a burger) the meat has been overcooked. Asked for Medium and it was Medium Well at best. Asked for Medium Rare and we were mistakenly served a Well Done..... If they can fix this; A-1.

Ordered crab cakes. They were badly burned on the underside. Waitress and manager were quick to take care of the situation and gave us free dessert. First basket of rolls were hard so the waitress waited until the fresh ones came out and brought them out still nice and warm. Excellent servers.

First time at Thistledown. Very convenient, nice restaurant. Staff very friendly and attentive. Bread/rolls were delicious. Braised beef short rib was good, mashed potatoes a little too thick. Enjoyed the salad with apple vinaigrette dressing. The salmon was delicious and cooked as requested. One disappointment was that a salad could not be substituted for one of the two sides that came with the dinners and had to be purchased separately. The other disappointment was that we requested the Notre Dame/Pitt football game be put on one of the TVs instead of a no-name, less popular game that no patrons seemed to be watching. The channel was never changed, even after we politely asked two or three times. Other than those two issue, it was a good experience.

I would have given them 5 starts but, the food could have been a lot warmer. Service could have been faster and sides should have included a salad. Not just potatoes and a cooked veggie.

Server Thomas hustles! We had stopped going to Millcreek related to the poor service, although the food was good. This time both the food and service were very good. I had the salmon and my partner had the lemon chicken entree, they arrived hot and in a timely manner. Our server was very pleasant and efficient, the hostess was a team player greeting & seating customers and clearing tables. Nice to see the improvements.

My husband and I both had the prime rib Saturday Special and it was very good. It was a little overcooked so next time I will order it differently. Other than that everything else on the menu that came to the table was cooked nicely and came to the table in a timely fashion. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and plan on visiting it in the future.

The waitress was not well trained. She brought the incorrect wine and tried to hard to make me believe that it was the wine I ordered. Finally she apologized, never brought the correct wine and charged more than the original ordered wine. I had a $200.00 gift card from Racino, spent $135.00 and charged extra for the unwanted wine. I think that earned an unsatisfactory experience at the restaurant.

First visit and we decided on this restaurant last minute via the app. Our server, Jacqueline was okay. As "she knows everybody" but didn't recognize us was not very helpful or informative about the restaurant/menu. One of us had the Prime Rib which was not cooked properly and the sides were not warm. I had the Grilled Lemon Chicken that was good. Wine list is very lacking and limited so we each had a glass only.

This was my third and final attempt to have a good experience. I was planning to use food credit and comps so it would have been a free meal but this time we left even before we got water. We arrived at 735 with reservations at 745. We were told they would prepare a table and to sit in the waiting area. As we were waiting we saw the hostess seat the folks behind us in our seat by mistake. She apologized and prepared another table for us. We were seated at 743. At 750 I got up to ask the hostess if we had a server. At 752 our server showed up, she had been waiting tables all around us and not once said she would be right with us. We ordered water and a drink each. She promptly brought out bread but then disappeared. We got up and left at 802 because we still hadn't received water!! Unfortunately this is similar to our first 2 visits. If you can eventually get your food it tastes great but the service and management is miserable. They would be better off eliminating their front staff and increasing the kitchen staff and have panera type ordering on an iPad and pick up your own food when it is ready. We gave them 3 attempts before writing a bad review. We will never be back.

It was Father's Day. It was busy. The waitress did everything she could. The kitchen was really behind. The manager was trying to help but he did more harm than good. In the end they removed my salad from the bill because it never was served. They forgot to load up the baked potato, they forgot the sauce. Finally it was so screwed up they took the entire meal off the bill. The waitress was very polite, there was nothing she could do. The manager is lowsy. He needs to go!

Our reservation was for 5:00. They open at 5:00. However, even though they just opened they were out of a lot of the items on the menu. No baked potatoes, no sweet potatoes, etc. How can you be out of things and you just opened. I will not visit there again.

My wife and I had a filet and fried catfish respectively. Both were very good. Steak cooked perfectly and corn meal breaded catfish which was recommended by our waiter Giles exceeded expectations. Good bread and, perfectly cooked sweet potatoes made for and enjoyable meal.

I made a reservation because I was celebrating my birthday and I did not know how crowded it would be. I shouldn’t have bothered because the hostess could have cared less. Not only did she not ask for our name but she didn’t acknowledge if she even had a reservation for us. I really was hoping for a better experience as it took some convincing to get my husband to come along!
