Courtney was a great server and easily accommodated my meal changes. The club sandwich (friend had that) was delicious. My Brussel sprout salad was very yummy (I sub avocado for the chicken- vegetarian). Kids meal menu has great options, too. Highly recommend!
EXCELLENT service, good food, clean, nice, lots of TVs. I'll be back for sure.
Restaurant week menu didn't have what I ordered, food bland...The TV screens outside had music videos and the inside had sports...The only bad restaurant experience we had after being in Phoenix for a week
It was very nice. We went there for Restaurant Week but will definitely return. We sat on the patio, it was lovely.
The food was amazing! Thirsty lion has turned into one of my favorite places! I highly recommend the white cheddar BBQ burger!
The food was very good, everyone at our party of four liked what they ordered. It was a bit cool inside and its a fairly loud place even during the weeknights. The waitress was very good as well.
Great food, great service.
I come to this establishment quite often and typically they’re always great across the board. This time, our server wasn’t as top notch as usual; however, the manager (Amy I believe) was amazing in saving the night.
Good food, good service
Service was as good as could have been expected, as they were busy and seemed a bit short on help. Food was consistently good.
Super cute place, the food is always amazing. Large portions and yummy
We are no stranger to Thirsty Lion Gastropub, it’s on our list of go to spots to get a quick drink and snack while we are on the go. We haven’t had a bad meal out of all the plates ordered aver the last few years. I suggest the “Scotch eggs” they’re amazing, they also make a great old fashion. Cheers!
Great server! Kendal. He was great. The food is amazing! We can’t stop going back. So many great foods. Spicy Cauliflower. You must try it!
Great place to eat but bring a sweater, gets a little chilly inside for some of us.
Great place to meet up with old friends.
Good food. Our server was excellent. Always consistent service!!
Service was terrible food was mediocre. Waitress should offer Happy Hour drinks to customers and instead of charging them for the most expensive liquor on the shelf.
It was very noisey and hard to hear people at you table.
Food was good—drinks and service were decent. Noise level was intolerable.
The food was good but the service was definitely lacking. It took 20 minutes for someone to come over to take our order.
Brought the family here for my birthday and we thorough enjoyed our experience! Only negative I’d say was the waitress not acknowledging my birthday whatsoever even though it was notated on the reservation. Aside from that, the food was great and service was quick! I love the $20 bottle of champagne for mimosas which is a brunch special, and the blood orange juice was a fantastic option! Everyone enjoyed their food. My daughter ordered the kids Belgian waffle, and while the waffle was a normal size, it would have been nice to have a side like eggs or bacon/sausage. My son has the cheeseburger and my husband ordered the breakfast burger. Both said their burgers were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I’d say that it honestly is not spicy at all, but does have good flavor due to the added chipotle Mayo. I even added some cholula for extra heat. We will be back for sure!
We've visited Thirsty Lion many times before, but this visit was a bit lackluster. Food was good, service was slow. It took approximately 15 minutes for us to get our drinks, then it was quite a wait before our server checked to take our order. We sat at a high-top in the bar area. Next time, we'll sit at the bar where the service is much more attentive and friendly.
Great food and drinks! I had the fried chicken mac and cheese and the person I was with had the Gastropub Burger. The mac and cheese was good but I would get the Gastropub Burger next time as well. Also, had the large pretzel with dipping sauces that were really good. Additionally we both had drinks, Old Fashioned and Blood Orange Margarita which were both really good! Can be a bit loud but to be expected for this type of restaurant.
Hostess were super friendly and accommodating to our request for a booth. The ambience and seating was fantastic. After our first initial order of drinks, our server was kind of MIA for a good 25 mins. So it took a bit to get an appetizer started and drinks and water refill. Once she did come back and we got our appetizers and dinner entrees placed with her, it was smooth sailing after that. The seasonal burger was delicious! The artichoke dip was good but the ratio of chips and dip was off. I had more chips than the dip portion. The flights of beers were great. Overall, I would definitely come back again and recommend.
Great food, great drink selection, good happy hour specials and top shelf treatment from Karlie. We will be back!
Nice selection of items, great service
Food was average in taste. I got fish tacos, my husband got rib eye, and my boys got mac n cheese. The pretzel we ordered as an appetizer came after the food, so we were given an appetizer voucher, which was nice. It was very loud, difficult to have conversations.
Exceptional! Had to change our reservation twice because more people joined us; hostess was kind and accommodating. Server Jennifer was amazing. 10 different orders and kept everyone happy. Food was great. Management helped bring out food. It’s a great place. If I lived here I’d be there a lot.
-it took a long time for someone to acknowledge us after the hostess sat us (we had a reservation)
-the appetizer came out late
-the drinks were incorrectly made
-the server never asked us how things were and rarely came to the table
After a slow start. It took Dillion a little while to acknowledge our presence he nailed our visit.
The food was cooked to perfection and we were able to watch football while enjoying our time.
The managers at this location have everything clicking on all cylinders.
We’ll be back
Happy Hour apps were really good. Service was a little slow but it was super crowded
We ate out in the patio, it would have been phenomenal if the mister near us had been working. There was no water coming out and it appeared as though the water line was not working,
This was our first time here and it was great! We each got the pepper bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! The soft pretzel was also amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and was welcoming. Would highly recommend!
The pub breakfast and bloody Mary’s were amazing!!
Went for lunch. Had a pleasant time. Good service.
Music was so loud I couldn’t talk to my husband seated across from me. This was at 5 pm. Save the loins music for later
Goodbye lunch for a friend who is moving away. It was so noisy for lunch time. We could barely have a conversation.
Very comfortable atmosphere for families, couples or groups. Food was very good with great prices. Service was awesome even though they were super busy. Highly recommend.
Lively and noisy. It's definitely for a young crowd. We were four senior adults. We came at the end of happy hour and next time we will be sure to show up in plenty of time to enjoy their Happy Hour of food and drinks, which appeared to be a great deal. We ordered drinks, appetizers and main course, off the main menu. All our food was good, nothing over the top. We split a large pretzel for the table which was yummy and the dipping sauces were a hit. Our salads were a little different, not what we expected. I ordered a Caesar with chicken and it was small for a dinner portion and seemed to have some other slaw type lettuce mixed in with the romaine. Our friends ordered a smokey chicken salad and it too was mixed with slaw type salad. They said it was a bit odd, but good. The beef dip sandwich was nice, french fries were a little under done and could have used more flavoring. We did have a bit of an issue with hearing each other over the loud voices of the crowd. High ceilings and no sound barriers. We will go back to happy hour next time and see if we can possibly seat to the side which might help with the noise level. We were in the middle of the restaurant this time. They have a great beverage menu and food menu with lots of choices for every diet. My husband found a dark beer that was new and different which he liked. Our severer was helpful and we didn't feel rushed. Nice dinner with friends, glad we tried something new.
Food was poor. Said they would accommodate allergies. Our grandson has an egg allergy and there was no accommodation or a offer to accommodate. Would not eat there ever again.
Everything was good but turn the music down a touch. When you can barely speak to your friends and family at the table it’s a little annoying.
