Third Street Social
We had a great time - and leftovers for a second night of fine dining!
Food was excellent and well presented.
First time here, food + wine was off the hook, chain, or whatever the kids say these days. Will definitely be back!
Would you recommend Third Street Social to a friend? Already talked about our dinner to at least 3 different people at work. We had the Tomahawk Ribeye with the brussels sprout/cauliflower appetizer. Every meal we've tried here has been fantastic. Keep it up!
We were seated promptly at a nice big round table. The table was pushed back in the corner and so close the other tables, it was difficult for the server to do her job. Server could not get to back of table--everything needed to be passed. Otherwise, it was nice place to eat dinner.
Received a gift certificate from our kids for Christmas. Loved the old building and clean industrial look in the dining room. Food was good. My wife’s shrimp and grits compared to those we get in South Carolina
I love the Brussels sprouts and Cauliflower appetizer! It could have twice the amount, and I’d make a meal out of it! As someone trying to follow a low carb diet, the flavors and options are wonderful.
Great service! And the food was so amazing I cannot wait to go back!
Food never disappoints! We were seated promptly upon our reservation time. Appetizer of fried Brussels sprouts and cauliflower was delicious! We had a nice booth that helped with the noise a little bit. If you want a quiet place to dine- this wouldn’t be the place.
Wow! Food was awesome! Will definitely be back.
I love the food, and understand the decorator’s intent with the open ceiling, but the restaurant is noisy.
Love this restaurant. Wish the menu didn’t bend so far in the comfort food direction. Meatloaf, chicken fried chicken. Chicken waffles. Fried fish. Mac n cheese which is what I had with the snow crab. It’s mostly pretty heavy stuff. Maybe that’s what is selling there.
Food was delicious 👌!!! Server was awesome. Parking was a challenge. Great walk if it's nice out.
Service and food was amazing! Very loud and a bit tough to have a quiet conversation.
I am always disappointed when I go to a restaurant looking forward to a favorite menu item only to find it is no longer offered on the menu. Such was the case on this visit. The entree that brings me back to 3rd Street Social was the Prime Rib "handheld", a perfect portion and cut of prime rib making it a very nice meal that I always thoroughly enjoyed. It is what I ordered my first time dining there and each time since until now. It has been replaced with a shaved prime rib sandwich with sauteed onions and a overly generous amount of cheese. Whereas it was a good sandwich and again generous with the beef, it was basically a $20 "philly cheese steak" sandwich. Served with au jus for dipping, it was very messy to eat and much too heavy of a meal for me. I hope enough comments will sway the restaurant to restore the original prime rib handheld to their menu. Until then, my eagerness to return is gone.
The tomahawk ribeye was amazing! More than enough for 2 people.
Great selection the meatloaf was anazing. Our server was excellent and very professional
I always love the food and it’s a fun place to take friends. The noise level is usually so high that it’s hard to talk to your table mates but I find myself going back anyway.
I've been to Third Street Social about four times now and would not recommend it to others. On this particular occasion, when my meal was served the broccoli had cleary been burned in some way; my guess is this happened by accidently catching the florets on an open flame. This outcome made the entire plate smell very off-putting (i.e., like cigarettes). I was surprised the plate was served as the smell was very easy to detect. I notified the server and asked for a different side. The request was granted but then I was brought the wrong side. I spoke with a manager and I was brought an entirely new dinner plate with freshly-steamed broccoli. I'm glad the issues were taken care of; however, I don't expect these kinds of mistakes at a place where I'm spending nearly $100 (with tip) on a dinner for two. Finally, I anticipated the manager would offer something (e.g., free dessert) for the mistakes. No such offer was made.
The food was amazing! Staff was wonderful! Great atmosphere! LOVED IT!
The food was good, but a little overpriced. With the higher price of the food, I would have expected a little nicer atmosphere.
Always a great experience. Great staff, food, and bottomless mimosas!
Met some friends for lunch. Food was great and our waitress was wonderful
I felt when came in the door the young girl that sat us at our made us feel like she had a problem with us.
Wide selection of fish, meat entrees and sandwiches to choose from... well described. I ordered my grilled salmon medium rare with no salt, noting it didn’t appear this way to the delivery person. Our server immediately replaced it with a perfectly moist salmon: excellent service. Wedge salad was splittable- Chicken fried steak was huge, and the Mac n cheese side was yummy! Will return here definitely.
Best meal we have ever had in a restaurant. Amazing service too.
The experience, from the great decor and amazing food and personable service, was wonderful. We had a group of 6 and each had something a little different because the food is varied in options and all were delicious and filling. No down side to our experience at all. Would definitely recommend. I just wish our server knew where I could find the silverware for my own home!
Grateful for Third Street Social! I will pray the Lord continues to bless your business for His glory and your eternal joy!#John17:3-10
Interesting and unique, great food, but way too loud to have a conversation!
The food is always good and service was great. Food allergies were not a problem for our server- Rachel checked with the kitchen to meet our needs.
Happy Hour with friends. Food and drinks were great!!! I'll be back
This was an awesome experience, the chefs are great and it is a fantastic meal for the price. The server we had was very helpful and kind and fun. She knew about everything on the menu and very professional. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The restaurant has done a great job and we will be eating here again.
I’ve been to this restaurant several times, and the food is always good, the service is one extreme or the other (really good or really bad), but my honest overall rating would have to be 3 out of 5 stars. With the length of time the restaurant has been there the menu has never changed. I understand that there’s fan favorites, but at the end of the day seasonal changes to the menu would have my wife, friends, parents and I visiting more frequently. As a Lees Summit resident it’s nice to have this restaurant close by and available, but some menu change-ups. Is this worth a visit? Absolutely! Are you going to grow tired of it? In my opinion, unfortunately, yes. They have a great happy hour and the people watching can be fun if that’s your thing.
Lee’s Summit Gem!
We went for brunch and enjoyed the bottomless mimosas. For food, I ordered the B&G and felt they could’ve used more gravy. They were kinda dry. We got donuts as an appetizer and they were ok, liked them better without the fruit dip they came with. The dessert we shared was delicious, it was something with mousse in it.
Delicious food with a great atmosphere. They exceeded my expectations and I will be back. The only problem we had was figuring out what to order. As soon as we made up our mind, we would see more food come out to other tables that looked good. Cannot wait to go back.
Our Sunday brunch with the family was delicious and just great family time. Unfortunately, the gift card "register" was not working when it was time to pay our bill and we came with the purpose of using a very generous gift card. I guess that means we will have to come back real soon.
Had a wonderful brunch, the food was amazing as always! Had a great waitress as well!
Excellent food, I had the shrimp and grits with a wedge salad and chocolate raspberry tort. All Good! Great service, atmosphere, a bit noisy but that’s because they are one busy place. Lees Summit’s hidden gem!
Third Street Social is always amazing. We went on the last day of restaurant week this year. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. We made reservations for a group of 6 and were seated right away. They change their drink and dessert options regularly so there is always something new to try.
