Little Neck Clams
slowly cooked in garlic, white wine and other spices for your delight, served over linguine pasta
They had one large party already seated when we arrived and another arrived shortly after we did. Even with this situation, the service was still better than at most places. And the food, as always, was outstanding. One of the places we love to take visitors because we know the overall impression will be good.
This newer restaurant in Landrum was a wonderful surprise. Don’t let the fact that it’s a renovated old Pizza Hut building fool you, this is the real deal. Italian cuisine at it’s best.
The food is divine, the service was great. Just an amazing experience.
We had the fried oyster special for an appetizer. They were cooked perfectly, soft in the center, crunchy on the outside. Served with a green creamy special sauce that was perfect.
Oh, and the bread was great. Crisp out, soft inside.
I had the osso bucco. All I can say is wow. Great flavors, served classically with a marrow spoon, saffron risotto and broccolini. It had some edible gold leaf as well which I could have done without.
I also requested a side of the pasta Bolonese. The sauce was rich and flavorful.
He had the pasta seafood dish with shrimp and mussels fra diovlo. Not too much heat, cooked to perfection.
Panacotta for dessert was delicious.
I’ve heard complaints about it being expensive, no salad, bread average, etc. Well, if you want cheap Italian American food like that, go to Capris. That’s their niche.
If you want authentic Italian food, with lots of love and prep time to make it special, please support The Pasta Station. This place is a gem!
This place was very surprising. Was told to go to Pasta Station and it was surprisingly really good. Good quality food and really large portions. Would go back for sure!
First time to eat dinner. First off when you see the name Pasta station you think cheap, sorry…
It was nicely decorated and didn’t fit the name at all.
Server was nice, appetizer was great, Burrata cheese was grand. I was very disappointed by the Bolognese sauce..
My husband likes his, something with pancetta… dessert was good as well. Great vine selection.
We will come back and try it again for sure and try another pasta dish.
The Service extremely slow and the food was terrible.
In hopes of finding good Italian food in the area we found some okay Italian food. The highlights were the pasta fagoli soup, the bread and oil and the desserts are hands down amazing. Truly homemade. Espresso was very good as well. Entrees ….. I would love to say they were exceptional but they were mediocre at best. The chicken parm was tough. Very thick and not pounded out enough. The alfredo was nothing different than any other Italian restaurant you would come across. I wanted to love the food but we just didn’t. I would come back for soup and bread with desserts ! They are definitely firing on all cylinders with those items !! The service was outstanding and some of the best I’ve ever had !!
Atmosphere was charming, food and service very good. Would recommend. Will be back.
Loved it! Excellent Food.
We had an outstanding meal Jeff our server was great did a fabulous job the food was incredible lots of different dishes ossoBuco was amazing highly recommended
I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I have heard mixed reviews about the place and wanted to try it for myself. The service was quite slow and it seemed like there were a lot of people there but only one server.
It was sooooo good! It felt like a hug in a bowl! The service was exceptional! I'll definitely be back!
The meals and service were excellent. Shared Caprese Salad, Veal Parmigiana, and Eggplant. Will return to try other menu selections.
The atmosphere was upscale and delightful. I’m not a fancy person, but I actually enjoyed it. The food was well portioned and the price was on par for the quality. Please give this place a chance, you won’t regret it.
We were a little worried because the menu was small. However it did not disappoint. The decor is a little more old school than expected but the food was homemade delicious Italian food
Best Italian food in this area. Great service! Great food! Great wine! What more could you want???!!!???
Everything was good but the service. Our server was really good but had too much to do. There were three other servers standing around talking—doing nothing while our server was running his feet off. It looks really bad having staff standing and talking in the middle of the floor while one or two people are working themselves to death. More wait staff that is productive is needed.
A very nice place. We will be returning. Nice on the inside and not crowed for a post-COVID Wednesday night. Name is misleading as then menu has way more items that are not pasta but very good high end Italian food.
The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp scampi and mussels.
We are so lucky to have had the Pasta Station open in our little town. The food is spectacular and the service has a wonderful European flair--attentive but not obtrusive, unfailingly courteous and helpful. We will be returning regularly to this lovely establishment. Highly recommended.
Outstanding find. Nondescript exterior (apparently a former chain restaurant that was renovated), but once inside, ambiance, food and service were outstanding. We look forward to returning soon.
Very good! Just a bit less salt in the osso buco. Great service from Caitlyn. Nice atmosphere. Nice to have a more upscale Italian restaurant available in Landrum. We'll be back soon!
The special menu strip steak was not good meat. Very tough. My little neck clams were wonderful. So was the Chianti!!
The atmosphere romantic, servers professional, very attentive, the food was outstanding....
The restaurant was very upscale for the area, such a welcome change....
WORST FOOD THAT I HAVE HAD IN YEARS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ITALIAN COOKING WAS I MISTAKEN. PASTA SAUCE OUT OF A JAR WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT. AT $25.00 PER DINNER ALONG WITH RELATED COST WE SPENT 155.00 BEFORE TIP. THERE WAS NO BEER, WINE or LIQUOR!
Pleasantly surprised by this new little gem in rural NC! So good we went back the next night when we had family in town. Service was excellent and the chef nailed the homemade pasta dishes we had! We will be back!
Excellent food. Attentive service. Don’t let the outside fool you. We were a little surprised that there was not bread with the meal but the lasagna and bolognese were fantastic. Also the house salad was beautiful. Great place for a special dinner.
This place was amazing! The food was amazing, everything tasted great and was beautifully prepared. The ambiance of the restaurant made me think we were really back in Rome! It was beautiful. It was our first time, I went in jeans and a t shirt and when I walked in at first I felt very under dressed ( because it is sooo nice inside) but the staff was super friendly and inviting, they really made it a great experience. Would recommend 10/10.
First visit to the Pasta Station and we were very pleased. We had 3 in our party and ordered 2 salads, the ravioli with vodka sauce, the little neck clams, and “the classic”, which is mussels and jumbo shrimp with linguini and white wine sauce. They brought bread and dipping oil to our table to start. Everything was delicious and we finished with cannolis and tiramisu and coffee. Kyra was our server and she was great! Very nice ambiance, quiet with soft music playing in the background. We went a bit early in the evening, around 5:30, and it was not too crowded. Good food, good service, nice atmosphere. A very nice evening!
Great food and great service! A ramen favorite was the linguine with clams! Will be returning.
Twice I totally forgot I was in Landrum, S.C.
First time was being seated in the new elegance created by the Pasta Station. The tables, furnishings and ambience are all tastefully done and the music delivered in surprisingly good stereo quality add substantially to the experience.
The other time I forgot where I was arrived with the bill. Do bring your checkbook.
What would have eliminated that second consideration would be higher food quality. Preparation and presentation were first rate, but literally what was served seemed way below everything else.
Was there for over an hour before we got any food which was not edible. The fettuccine Alfredo was a soup.....never had it served that way before and hope never to again. Was not given any options for drinks other than the guy died and they don't have any alcohol because they don't have a liquor license ......... guess they didn't have soda either. The ONLY plus was our meal was compt due to the poor experience.... we will not return or recommend this restaurant.
Our lunch at The Pasta Station yesterday was great. The owners have done an amazing job of updating the restaurant with an upscale feel; the selection and quality of food was great, and we definitely will return. Service was great and all of our requests were eagerly met.
The “only” downside was that they are unable to serve wine, beer, or alcohol due to a delay in obtaining their liquor license.
Hopefully this will be resolved very soon.
I highly recommend trying this restaurant.
A must try 100% recommended, super delicious food we will be back. It was worth the ride from hendersonville.
