   We had a lovely lunch here, the chunky vegetable soup is delicious. We pre booked our table as we also did a distillary tour. Everyone was really helpful, especially as I have a severe strawberry allergy. The staff were very polite and the restaurant was impeccably clean.

   Amazing . Beautiful old distillery, informative tour and even saw our barrel near Princess Anne’s! All staff really friendly , excellent correspondence and great afternoon tea. Lovely setting, beautiful hand crafted fixtures and fittings in a cosy room. Good service and delicious. Could choose between teas or coffees. Two courses , first delivery , all the savouries , hot soup to start in a teacup, taster of haggis , roasted veg pastry, hot crostini with pesto and Brie and then all the finger sandwiches. Think four different types from memory. Just yum. Then the sweets arrived, separately , shortbread, chocolate brownie, fudge, lemon mousse, mini Battenberg, two types of hot scones ,two jams and cream . Great meal ! We were a group of 3 and there was three of everything . Just a lovely end to great afternoon trip . We all enjoyed and definitely one of the best afternoon teas I have had , and I have tried a few , including The Ritz, Savoy, Goring and Wolsey . My advice is don’t change anything .

    thank you to the staff of Maltings for a warm welcome and a lovely lunch. We were there celebrating our Dad's birthday and he thoutoughly enjoyed it. Lovely food, great service and very friendly and helpful staff. Try the sausage rolls and ALL the cakes are amazing.

    Amazing food, amazing cakes, nice friendly quiet atmosphere, lovely decor and well catered for dogs too. What more can you want. First time we visited the distillery and coffee shop we fell in love and go back regularly. This place really deserves so much credit, the staff are always very warm and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. I recommend this to everybody. Why not get a dram while you're there aswell!

    Very pleasant as always (have been several times now). Staff pleasant and friendly, good quality food and fast service, although menu could be a bit more diverse - limited choice of fillings for bakes potatoes and sandwiches. Only slight criticism would be the seating, especially for the elderly - gard wooden seats with no padding. Only one armchair per table.

    My husband had an excellent breakfast. I had the pancakes with bacon, egg and maple syrup. Would have liked more bacon as there wasn't much on the plate but still delicious

    Cannot fault The Maltings Coffee Shop at Annandale Distillery! We had the traditional Afternoon Tea for two and it was superb! Service was faultless, the setting great and our pooch was welcome too - would highly recommend!

    Always a pleasant experience. The Maltings do lovely sandwiches, sometimes that’s exactly what you want. Try the Annandale on brown bread, excellent! Very good hot coffee as well

    Met my friend for lunch yesterday… had soup and bread and a fruit scone with cream and jam and pot of tea. All was lovely and the girl serving ( think her name was Kate ) was super nice. Great value for such lovely ambience and surroundings. Toilet lovely and modern and clean .

    Had afternoon tea 1 month ago, I preferred it then as I don’t like lamb and it was presented on a scone in the savoury selection. Price has gone up £4 since I last visited 1 month ago! I queried this and was told it had held at £17 for 4 years, not going up with people enjoying it at that price for that length of time. I said that is fair enough but I’d only had my first one 1 month ago so that comment didn’t apply to me. Also, the lady said price increase was because it was the Christmas menu. Only extra I noted was a Christmas cracker. A bit disappointed but still enjoyed it.
