Superb for lunch or brunch, just the thing to reawaken the senses.
I was in NYC for an 8 hour layover on my way to London and it was a perfect meal. The service always at top of its game and the food exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled to start my birthday weekend at this great place. I will definitely be back soon.
Food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent. Glamorous decor in a peaceful setting and low noise levels made this restaurant a pleasure.
Went with a group of 4 for afternoon tea and had a lovely time. It was very empty and the restaurant's music was fairly quiet making the atmosphere the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. Our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their tea selection and we truly enjoyed the tea sandwiches and scones. We were served passion fruit and lavender macaroons which were well made but a little too ambitious for our flavor preference. We hoped for a more traditional tea cake like Victoria sponge or petit fours. Hopefully when they've been open longer, we'll return for a second try!
I have eaten at the Zodiac before and it was good, but this time it was terrible. I won't eat there again. Our server was lovely, but the food and cocktail were not.
We plan to return often. Coming to Zodiac in NYC is like coming home -- all the familiarities I so enjoy in other cities, popover with strawberry butter and consommé, are like an embrace. My lunch was superb, and we lingered over coffee before shopping. We will be back soon!
This is why I LOVE Neiman-Marcus!
Loved the ambiance, the view, and the food was great! It was worth the visit and I would definitely recommend
I love The Zodiac Room and so does everyone I've been there with. It has a varied menu, the service is great, there's a wonderful view, and there is no blasting music.
We had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and welcoming and our server, Ro, was fantastic!! Ro was knowledgeable about the menu, the development of Hudson Yards and about NYC itself. She was helpful and informative but never pushy or obtrusive. We look forward to another delicious experience at the Zodiac Room soon.
Loved it! It was my first time and my friend and I enjoyed their afternoon tea. They tailored their sandwiches to my allergies. Service was amazing throughout and the staff were very friendly. I can’t wait to go back!
Great birthday celebration! Food & martinis were amazing, as was the service!
Great overall experience
Our Servers Were INCREDIBLE!!! Their KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE, PROFESSIONALISM and ENTHUSIASM was UNSURPASSED ‼️‼️ The entire staff was SO LOVELY and WELCOMING. The views are outstanding and the food is DELICIOUS and served ARTISTICALLY !! The servers were are to describe to a tee, each dish and help make the proper selection. Eva paired our Prosecco desire with an OUTSTANDING sparkling wine suggestion that was the best EVER!! An overall TREAT and an amazing place to dine within an AMAZING VENUE AND DESTINATION!! THIS IS TRULY THE MOST GORGEOUS NEIMAN MARCUS ANYWHERE!!! And, ZODIAC is THE BEST NM RESTAURANT we’ve dined ( our of several )!! And, located in the BEST NEW DESTINATION IN NYC IN DECADES- HUDSON YARDS- an EXPERIENCE BEYOND!!
After a long search (no signs) we found it, visiting for afternoon tea - a group of 7. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were given a table in a windowless room. Service was weak - despite being the only customers we had to go in search of a server, even into the kitchen at one point.
There was no flexibility in our ability to order - everyone was going to be served afternoon tea whether we wanted it or not. Hot water came in teapots without the tea in it so tea leaves had to be put in the cup. This made the idea of having a pot of tea obsolete since getting a refill required adding (now tepid) water to the already once soaked teabags. Ugh. Sandwiches were very good and nicely served and the table top composition was beautiful.. But the food itself was disappointing and fell flat, much like the “scones”.
I would not return.
The food was awful but the server and manager handled it so well and professionally. Would not rule it out based on service but the kitchen staff definitely needs to go...
The decor is beautiful .. modern and sleek without it being cold. The wait staff was very good. However the food was just good because it was more of a lunch menu and less exciting for dinner. Wish they had more options.
I am a NM frequent eater all over the country and the food at this particular one was below my expectations. The Greek said was very average and the chicken addition was so salty - almost inedible. Service was excellent.’our waitperson was very lovely and efficient. She had no idea that we didn’t like our lunch. My husband’s Chicken dish was just okay. Sadly, Not a home run.
Very pleasant and comfortable dining. Food and service were great.
Great food and wine, good decor and ambience.
LOVED the experience! The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating - and the meal was delicious! The popovers were a lovely touch and the beef broth was superb! Specialty cocktails were fun and delicious- looking forward to another visit!
Wonderful experience. Best Manhattan ever! The restaurant is very comfortable yet elegant.
Wonderful salads and seafood. Great service, lovely decor. A hidden gem in Hudson Yards.
Fabulous food and cocktails in a sexy and serene space! The broth and popovers are legendary! I have been three times and am planning my next event. Thank you Guillermo for your impeccable service.
Food was excellent. I will go again.
A lovely luncheon nicely served by an attentive staff in a lovely room overlooking a city view. Nice to have the Nieman civility and presentations come to New York. Server gave us popovers to take home upon request.
The service was exceptional. We loved the atmosphere and the food.
Our waiter was friendly, kind and helpful with ordering. Our cocktails were excellent, food was delicious and the room was beautifully done.
Nothing special like other N-M restaurants, like in Honolulu for instance. The popovers were good with the strawberry butter whip. But they left off the consumme, server error I'd suppose. Other nearby tables were served. Service was spotty, rushed but mostly adequate. Didn't find the chairs to be very comfortable, so we became eager to leave. Chicken salad with soufflé' was very tasty, a traditional serving of NM restaurants I'd never tried before. The lobster roll was OK. Probably won't go back here.
The salad was overpriced 29 dollars with a thin piece of chicken. The service was slow and a refill for my iced coffee ; first time a glass of tea was given, returned and sent back with iced coffee with a lemon on the glass. In addition each glass was charged 5 dollars, for a glass of ice and little coffee.
lovely place for all occasions - food was very tasty and served beautifully -would add a few more sweets for dessert to the menu - the servers were accommodating and helpful..delightful experience.
Going to Hudson Yards, there are a myriad of places to shop and eat. The Zodiac is an oasis of quiet. We enjoyed a nice lunch on our way to visting some shops and the Vessel. The food was good, with the usual Zodiac flair. Always nice to start a meal with the chicken broth and pop overs. We look forward to that tradition making Zodiac at other Neiman's a place we visit.
Treated like royalty for a bday lunch
Chicken salad had too much mayo; fruit/bread served was orange soufflé was dense and lacked taste profile; decor feels like a cheap hotel
I can describe the food in one word: ‘meh’. The Hudson salad was indigestible vegetables with an overly citrusy dressing. And a teeny but tasty piece of salmon add-on. I left feeling hungry since I didn’t eat much, nor did my friend who ordered the same. Thank g-d there was a popover.
I made the reso stating it was my husbands bday & no acknowledgement made was a surprise to me.
Service was good & decor was beautiful.
Too many better choices in the yards.
This is an excellent restaurant. The view is great and the dining room is beautiful; the food was delicious. Cannot fault it in any way. Will definitely come back again.
It is a great spot to get away from the crowd in vessel. The chicken broth is pretty good.
The waitress not very friendly, feels rush us out
The room is beautiful and the staff was lovely.
The food was good, but I expected something delicious.
fyi - I had the lamb burger.
Professional and flawless service. Food looked and tasted flavorful and delicious.
It was me and my husband and we wanted to sit by the window. They sat us at a big table for 6 which was very wobbly and since it was just the two of us the entire seating was on one end of the table which made the table worse. when we asked the server about the table he said he couldn’t do anything at that point which was strange because the entire restaurant was practically empty. We had be careful through out our meal worried that we don’t spill my drink (a Manhattan) since it was served in a Martini glass. We ordered the pate and it was just terrible.
