Always have a great time at The York. Staff are attentive and kind, food is delicious and comes out quickly and drinks are delicious.

Service and food were both excellent. My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, the meals were a good size bordering on large but the food was of a really high standard so everything was finished off. The waitresses were always happy to help which is quite refreshing. Definitely the best place in Sale at the moment.

Our meal at The York was exactly as we had hoped. The initial greeting was friendly and professional, our table was ready and the service was seamless. There was a good selection of local and interstate wine and beer. I would highly recommend The York.

Always a great time had at The York! Great service, food, ambience. We had a party of 12 tonight and really enjoyed it!

We were in the private dining room, due to other functions. It was great to be able to talk and enjoy the night amongst ourselves. The choice of music was an added bonus. Food was lovely and plenty. Service was fantastic. Thank you.

The food was awful. Small portions of dried out fish, cold vegetables, stale bread. The drinks were very expensive. We sat outside and the flies were sticky. Basically a bad experience, we will definately not go again.

The food was good—we loved it. However, my burger and my husband’s steak didn’t seem to be cooked to order. It felt like they had been sitting in the kitchen for too long and were only served when it was time for the mains. The service was also a bit too slow. I also suggest more options to be added in the mains.
