Enjoyable Friday night supper. The Bavette Steak was excellent. Mix up of order meant our food was delayed, but our waiter apologised and offered some snack to fill the time. Well handled and food was delicious when it arrived.

This was our fourth visit and as before we were not disappointed. The food was of a high standard, wine list well thought through and service good. The York is a welcoming place and now very much our ‘go to’ local for eating out.

Great food, wines and negronis. Service was a little slow as they were slammed as every one came out because of the good weather! Great to see them busy though 👏

Lovely Victorian pub, beautifully refurbished. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff and really good food. Would definitely recommend.
