Just an allround hidden gem in the burbs. Really well done venue. Great food selection and matching the epic beer list.
Only gripe is the tabke inly service when the state stopped that months ago allowing bar service. When its busy the last thing you want is to wait n lose that buzz. In saying that on my visit the table service was reasonably prompt as not too busy.

With delicious food including some old favourites from the menu at The Mill (hello pork belly bites!), and an amazing craft beer menu (with plenty of other great options for non beer drinkers). Gill & her team never fail to impress and this is no different. Great service and knowledge of their products. Would recommend, and will return.

When I reseved a table, the only available booking was for 8pm. We arrived early at 7-40pm hoping for an earlier seating. We were told the table would not be available until 8pm as per our reservation. We waited on the footpath until 8pm and were then directed to a table at the front of the restaurant that had remained empty the whole time we were waiting. We are regulars at The Woods and as a local business want them to prosper but this experience has left a sour taste.

For beer lovers and general food lovers The Woods is just a comfortable, friendly and enjoyable spot. Great food, excellent range of beers and the best customer service. The staff have a great knowledge of beer and were really helpful in offering suggestions based on personal taste. Excellent approach to COVID safe protocols too. Will definitely be back

The selection of available beers (both pre-packaged and on tap) was exceptional. Food was good "pub grub" style. Service was also very good. Great location close to the train station. Definitely recommend The Woods Bar.

The staff on-duty that night whom we met were very engaging (Hunter, Brian and Nick - thanks), attentive - and generous given the occasion; quality food and drink - good portions; frequently changing on-tap craft beers. Looking forward to the next visit...
