Delicious Korean food! Great large tables and just delicious!!! We will be back.
Delicious Korean barbecue in Soho. Do yourself a favor and get the steak tartare appetizer
Overall good experience with no complaints. No waits and food delivered promptly and was fresh.
Food was excellent, service wasn’t great. We sat around waiting for our reserved table for about 25 minutes, and then we weren’t even promptly served. Fortunately, the food was worth the somewhat frustrating wait!
Amazing food and service. Lots of options to choose!
love that they let you cook your food. quality was great. very beautiful restaurant
The servers were gracious and hospitality. The food was awesome.
Made a reservation and wasn’t seated until 30 min after. When we finally got seated it took them a while to even give us water, there was also a mouse that ran through the restaurant.
We had an early dinner for two on a Friday during restaurant week. I was running about 10 minutes late, we were seated promptly and the service was friendly and efficient. Appetizers (crab crepe and duck breast roll) were delicious and followed by the BBQ Pork galbi and Black Cod - a divine dining experience. Desserts were also good, nice portions and not too heavy. Noise was low and ambiance is elegant and modern. Only criticism is that the bus people tried to remove our plates several times before we were finished, even though there were other tables free. Maybe over zealous? Anyway, a lovely dining experience!
My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and had a fantastic meal for a great price. The service was amazing and the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend doing the Korean barbecue because it really adds to the experience.
Friendly staff. Good food. Great for groups.
The Server was not attentive, nor friendly. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks. The food took 45 minutes to get to our table and surrounding tables received theirs before us even though they arrived much later. It was not that busy on the second floor so we were not sure as to why it was such slow service. The food didn’t have much flavor at all. Overalll a big disappointment. We will not be returning to this place.
The service was excellent and the food was remarkable. I would definitely go back and refer friends
Very nice. The food was wonderful and the service outstanding.
The food was soooo good here. There was so much and everything was delicious. However, I will say it took a long time for everything to come out. The meal should have taken only about an hour and a half became almost 3. However would still come back as everyone at the table really enjoyed it.
Value was great
Only complaint I had was the draft due to the not so sound shut front door. This lead to a heavy draft that flowed throughout the first floor. This couldn’t not have been controlled but I loved the menu and service
Not good value for money. Atmosphere so so. More of a group place (were seated downstairs)
Exceptional food. We will be back!
I loved this place . It’s my first time there and they was amazing servers. They helped us choose the best taste for us . It’s a little pricey , but the experience was worth it . Our waiter was amazing . He helped my husband with his chop sticks ! :) .
Wonderful bartender Alex making fantastic cocktails, and Phillip our server was attentive and courteous.
Everything was delicious, staff was friendly
For many years Woo Lae Oak in Beverly Hills was our favorite restaurant. Then we moved and missed it horribly. Turns out this is the same place...exactly the same food...precisely the same Korean bbq grill tables. Food beyond excellent. The filet, the Dak chicken, the spicy pork, the ba bim bap rice. Nothing tastes better. If more people knew about this spot, you couldn't get in.
Korean bbq in Soho. Might be a nice place to bring guests who are not familiar with the cuisine. Not for me, who used to be patron of the original Woo Lae Oak, for which the restaurant was named after. Decor is extremely attractive and the no smoke grill really works. Meat quality so so. You pay double the price and they don't even help grill the meat for you? Forget it!
Great food and service!! Would love to go back next visit
I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by The Woo. We got the $25 lunch deal, which includes an appetizer and entree. The food was amazing and service was great, and I definitely recommend this to anyone, especially good for groups!
The flavors were off for Korean food.
Along with the MIA Korean flavors, the decor is confused.
The meats were poor in quality and was served burned
Service was good.
Excellent place. Not a smell of barbeque and fantastic food and service.
Excellent food and service! Our waiter was very willing to help us order, and made sure that there was enough of each dish for each member of our group to try. Everything was fantastic. Best Korean BBQ restaurant we’ve tried in Manhattan. Looking forward to returning soon!
Would recommend as we all have been talking about it today.
The music was too loud, but otherwise food and service were excellent.
Good food but overpriced
Terrific Korean restaurant and no smoke due to their tables which suck the smoke away
great, food and service. we had a great time and kept ordering food and drinks.
This is a terrific Korean bar-b-que restaurant. Very much a cut above all the others. Highly recommended!
Making a reservation slot for a Saturday night were very specific on time availability, but was easily placed. There were a variety of dishes to choose from and the korean lager hit the spot. I had some KBBQ meats ( brisket, tongue, and the filet. Well marinated, and filled me just enough for some dessert. My date had the Soondubu, her favorite so far. Filled with flavor and spicy enough to enjoy and not overwhelm. I recommend this place 100%!
As soon we were sat, we were immediately told they were closing in 45 min so he needed to take our whole food ordered at once. We were early. Fine. We had a couple questions about the meat types in which he suggested the wrong one because he was rushing. Thanks to google we were able to confirm what we had initially wanted. Food was so bland, and we were robbed the experience of Korea BBQ because the service was awful.
Good not great. Much better places in Korean town. Also they only give 5 s.all side dishes to accompany the BBQ whereas most place give like ten.
Love the food and the service. My bf and I have a very stressing demanding schedules, we want a very relaxing thanksgiving so this was perfect before heading to watch a movie. We appreciate they were open on such a special day.
Great lunch deal
