For outside dining, I think it would be best to have it covered from the outside onlookers because we had an altercation with someone that was disrespectful to us. So to prevent this, enclose the outside dining, so customers can feel safe.
Definitely one of our favorite Korean restaurants downtown. Upmarket, trendy vibe. We've eaten here at least 10 times in past 2 years, including a few times outdoors in summer/fall 2020, and back inside a week ago. Food just as wonderful as ever, classic Korean -- not a fusion place.
Just wonderful all around ! We truly enjoyed!! .........
Just all around incredible will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Everything was incredible and easily customizable. Top top experience.
I just love this place, that simple!
Delicious and Cool AF!
it's Covid time so you're sitting outside. But the food is delicious. Especially the Korean fried chicken and the tuna sashimi with Asian pear.
The decor & staff were pleasant and accommodating but the star of the show was the fantastic Food!!
We had the best chicken wings Ever!!
They were fried then glazed with this spicy honey chili sauce that makes me want to moonlight there for a few weeks just to try to extract the recipe from the chef!!!
Other notable dishes was the Bi bim bop and the beef tartare!
It was excellent
Not the most authentic Korean experience in terms of dishes - there is definitely it let a fusion feel and levels of spice / flavor was a bit lower than I’d like. Although it’s a beautiful space and the COVID-outdoor dining setup and service was great.
The food we ordered was delivious
They don’t have dessert.
Best Korean food in SoHo in a great location with awesome outdoor dining.
The food and service are always superb. The tables are generally comfortably spaced (they’ve added a few more so it’s not QUITE as spacious as it was a few months ago) - it’s one of the few restaurants I’m always totally comfortable eating outdoors at.
Love this place. It’s
I booked the Woo for my daughter’s 21st birthday dinner and The Woo delivered! The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was delicious, fresh and just right. The atmosphere was fun and it couldn’t have been a nicer dinner. Thank you Woo!
Excellent food, good service, interesting and fun drinks.
This was one of the top 5 meals I have ever had in my entire life. And for a bargain price. Wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning at some point in the near future.
Pork belly was delicious and paired very complimentary to the potato croquettes. Very nice it was served over a flame. A bit disappointed the Kalbi Jim lacked sweet soy sauce. Meat was a bit dry. Expected more flavor. Waiters were slow with service. Wasn't too thrilled with the experience. I tried it. Won't be going back.
The food at The Woo is absolutely delicious! The indoor dining experience is absolutely amazing but even with COVID-19 they have create a beautiful outdoor space! The service is top-notch and the drinks are very refreshing (try the Asian Glow). My wife and I love going to the Woo!
Most importantly, the food at The Woo is So delicious. We order from here and go there at least once a week. Given so many choices we have in NYC, we wouldn’t do that unless the food speaks for itself.
Now service, hands down the most friendly awesome neighborhood spot. New or return customers, i always felt that this place was welcoming and inviting.
Manny, the GM is fantastic. He’s always working so hard and has a big smile on his face.
Will definitely return!
Friendly staff and good food
Amazing! As always! The bul go gi is to die for!
The food has alway been grate and with this outdoor dinning it was no exception. Excellent service too.
service was a bit slow but food was excellent!
The food and service have been excellent every time I've eaten at The Woo this summer. The tables are appropriately spaced and the staff's masks are fully covering their faces (and noses!) at all times. It's a treat every time and I appreciate they're taking care of their guests.
Food was too sweet and quality of meat wasn't that great.
Hard to not get Korean food right.
We did outdoor dining for lunch, which did not have plexiglass separating the tables. Tables were spaced apart but not 6 feet. Food was yummy, however we ordered spicy bulgogi n it wasn’t spicy at all. The bbq meat portions was a bit on the small side. Service was good, especially since it was not busy. However I did indicate that this was a birthday celebration and there was nothing oh well
Great experience with my girl! Definitely coming back!
Fantastic dining experience, especially appreciated during these times. Tried soju that was brewed up on 32nd, the Ojing Aw Bokum was delicious, and service was exquisite. Great spot in Soho!
Amazing Food!
The food was amazing. We order the kimchi pancake and tteokbokki as the appetizers, and the squid for the entree. I asked them to make it mildly spicy, and they did. Everything tasted great and the food came really quickly. The portion sizes were good, we couldn't finish everything for two people.
Really tasty food, and very professional and friendly staff. We dined out here during the Phase 2 reopening of New York, and they brought out the Korean BBQ for us in specials bowls with a flame underneath. It was really a great experience!
We loved The Woo! The service was thoughtful, the food had amazing flavor and the place was spotless. Furthermore, they had some awesome seafood and vegetarian options for the Korean BBQ grill, something I haven’t been able to find as easily at other places. If you go, make sure to try the tuna and the shittake mushrooms. Amazing!
Went for a birthday dinner with my girlfriend, the lighting and ambiance was perfect, we did the Korean BBQ Platter which was more than enough food for 2, but wasn’t so much that we felt overstuffed.
The wait was surprisingly long despite it being not busy at all. I ordered the scallion pancake for my daughter and I to share and it was not very good. A bland undercooked slop of egg and peppers. The BBQ was tasty and well priced at $25 each. The $16 scallion pancake was a major disappointment.
I really don't like to criticize restaurant but this experience was horrible. First regarding the food, the waitress gave us a choice to cook the meat it table side or have it cooked in the kitchen. We asked to be cooked in the kitchen. The waitress doesn't even ask how we want our meat be cooked and it was delivered to us over cooked like rubber. Like I don't know how a chef would send that kind of quality to be served. The waitress was horrible. Wasn't paying attention, didn't really care. Not friendly at all. We ordered kimchi jigae and it was served with so much kimchi tht there was barely any soup bc the kimchee absorbed all the liquid. I'm mean this place is really bad. Maybe they had off night but I would not go back here. Only good thing that happens was we complained about the meat and they took one order off the bill. I would not recommend.
Delicious Korean food! Great large tables and just delicious!!! We will be back.
Delicious Korean barbecue in Soho. Do yourself a favor and get the steak tartare appetizer
Overall good experience with no complaints. No waits and food delivered promptly and was fresh.
Food was excellent, service wasn’t great. We sat around waiting for our reserved table for about 25 minutes, and then we weren’t even promptly served. Fortunately, the food was worth the somewhat frustrating wait!
