    Beautiful restaurant with very attentive and courteous staff. Menu choice quite limited. Portion sizes for starters small even for fine dining. Food cooked to perfection. Really enjoyable experience but much too pricey to justify a regular visit. It's a once in a blue moon treat.

    Lovely setting in Drawing Room Two and nice and restful environment. Good selection of high end food to choose from. We had the poached and smoked chicken, slow cooked beef and apple crumble which were all good. Especially liked the tarragon dressing with the chicken starter and the Yorkshire pudding with the beef was extra tasty! Good wine selection too. Would definitely recommend

    This grill is a first class operation. It is an a beautiful hotel, and the grill itself is beautiful. The food was excellent and the service was first class. The prices were what you would expect for that level of service and food.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in the Wolff Grill. Our group of four adults all had different dishes from the menu and all thought the food was exceptional . The staff were attentive and the surrounding were atmospheric being in the shadow of the Titanic building at the restored docks. We will definitely return.

    It was okay. The menu was very limited - only ‘Pre-Arena’ menu available - and wasn’t very exciting. (Had a drink in the Drawing Room first and the food there looked more interesting.) But as it was Saturday evening, service was very slow. The servers seemed stressed, probably not enough of them. They need to be reminded to smile and be friendly even if they don’t feel like that! In the Wolff Grill six of us were put at a table that could easily have seated 8 or 10 so that affected conversation and general enjoyment. Won’t be rushing back.

    I'm sorry to say that extremely slow service took the shine off my dining experience. I had to chase staff to bring drinks and later again to bring dessert. I was waiting so long for both that I'm not actually sure if they would have arrived if I didn't chase them up. This was all the more disappointing because my expectations were so high beforehand. I was expecting impeccable service. Nonetheless the food was excellent. However, the ambience was detracted by piped music which made it difficult to hear the wonderful piano player. I find it distracting when two sets of music are competing with each other, and I would have preferred to hear the live piano playing without other music distracting me from it. Despite my disappointment I would recommend to a friend in the hope that the issues identified above will be addressed. It is a wonderful venue with great potential to provide a five-star dining experience.

    The staff were outstanding in every way . The only think I was disappointed with was the lack of veg on my plate - there was one small carrot on for decoration- when I asked to purchase more carrots the staff member came back from the kitchen to say they “didn’t have carrots for a side order as they were to expensive “ which he was told via the kitchen ! I was offered other veg but due to a health issue I could only take carrots

    Neither the quantity nor quality reflect the prices. My duck breast (2 tiny slices) was so tough I had real trouble cutting it! The addition of 3 blackberries was weird and they did not compliment the meat. Oh, and any sides were extra. The saving grace was that the jus was tasty.

    The restaurant was empty compared to our visit this time last year. This there was no atmosphere in the restaurant at all. On arrival we were only offered the A La Carte menu and we were shocked at the high pieces for a main course. Perhaps that’s why the restaurant was so empty. It was only after asking the head waiter that we were offered the 3 course menu for £40!! It was disappointing that we had to ask. The waiters were clearly not trained leaning across us a diners to serve food. When collecting plates too they we clearly not trained making a shambles of collecting and stacking the plates. All of this distracted from the dining experience. Such a difference from last year. On a positive note the food was excellent very flavoursome and hot as well as some interesting main and dessert combinations. This helped semi salvage the experience. The previous evening again we were shocked in the decline of the we level of experience in the Drawing Office Bar. We waited on entry as indicated but were ignored by all staff for over five minutes and eventually had to ask to be seated. We were struck too by how all of the vacant tables were stacked with empty glasses and plates. The majority of waiting staff we grumpy and slapdash only one served with a smile. All this distracted significantly from what we remember as a special experience in this amazing bar. What a shame that management have let standards slip so badly.

    Excellent food, attentive service and nice surroundings. Finn who was looking after us was great and made sure everything was perfect for us. Restuarant was quiet but as busy as anywhere for a Monday night. Would definitely come again!
