We have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now, i’ve heard a lot of good things, specifically the oysters for their sizes. Food was good, but could have been great, we thought it was very standard and the oysters.. we got a little disappointed with their sizes. We would definitely give it a second chance.

Food was delicious as usual especially the lobster grilled cheese special for Father’s Day yesterday. Our server was excellent despite the fact that our entrées took a little long to make it to our table. Two of us ordered an egg dish that was a little dried out. My spicy Bloody Mary was delicious but my husband’s Dark and Stormy was a little bland and weak.

Excellent food and our server Ashley was outstanding. We had a selection of local oysters and the octopus special as starters. Our entrees were a combination of both seafood and meat dishes, all of which were delicious and cooked perfectly! A perfect place to spend an evening in Duxbury!

Best experience ever, we will be back - Amazing food, even better service, world, class experience, the most creative menu ever. Affordable for the full-blown experience. This place is like a baby Michelin star in Duxbury.

We love Winsor House! The food is always amazing ~~ incredibly fresh, unique recipes that feature our favorite seafood. The service is always personal, friendly, and fun. Winsor House is beautiful both inside and out, and it's situated in a lovely, scenic location. Winsor House is a must-visit if you're in the area!

The Winsor House provides an outstanding experience! Service is exemplary & the menu is truly divine. Compliments to both front of house and kitchen for a delightful dinner AND lunch (we returned the following weekend it was so good!).

Pros: Very nice server doing her best. A bit slow getting going but we could see she was totally slammed and once she knew we were in a rush (we had a play to get too), she totally stepped it up and was perfect. Definitely not her fault, it was pretty obvious, the place was packed. Food was excellent. Drink was excellent (I had the mezcal cocktail with the aperol -yum!) Adorable place, great ambience. Con: SO noisy. I don't know if it's possible to do anything but we could not hear each other. Very loud party next to us, but even after they left, it was still pretty loud. Some kind of remediation (doors between the small rooms would really help) is needed. We won't go back for this reason and only this reason. Otherwise, totally recommend!

This is the second time we’ve experienced extremely poor service here. After being seated, we waited 25 minutes without any acknowledgment. I eventually had to get up twice to find someone—anyone—who could assist us. When our server finally appeared, he explained that he had been in the bathroom and things were busy, so he needed a moment. It’s clear the restaurant is either understaffed or lacks an effective system for managing tables. Guests were visibly frustrated, left sitting with menus and no drinks for an unreasonably long time. For a venue of this caliber, this level of service is simply unacceptable

Everything was great except that thought it was odd that would not do an egg white omelet or any just egg white option. 1/2 the brunch menu was egg focused.
