   Amazing brunch! Our waiter was so amazing, he was so attentive and didn’t rush us at all which is key for a brunch spot. They also got Trillium on tap which is GREAT!

   The Meal was great and oysters enjoyed by all. I don’t know why the server didn’t write down the order but she made up for in the end.

   We started the night by the fire pit having Sangria which was lovely! Then headed in for a wonderful dinner and some great wine! Had a really wonderful time. The service was great for the most part but a little slow at times. We weren’t in a big hurry so it really wasn’t an issue…except when we needed more wine!😉The reason I gave a 4 for the value was the charge for admin fee of $30 for only 4 people! I could see if we had had a large table but honestly we were not a very demanding table! Thought this was pretty ridiculous. We enjoyed our night, but this charge left a bad taste in the mouth.

    The service was spotty and the food although good was very expensive. $18.00 for a small bowl of chowder, $45.00 for olive oil cake. Very limited and quirky menu.

    We were very happy to finally get to return to the Winsor House. Being creatures of habit, we were disappointed that the halibut and the salmon are no longer on the menu - but we did enjoy the chicken and the Winsor Burger very much. We also miss the ice cream sandwich that used to be on the dessert menu. As usual, the ambience and lighting were really nice, the noise level was low - very pleasant. We will definitely be back again soon.

    I had a date night with someone new and we both had a fantastic time. Sat next to the Raw bar and spoke with the gentleman working there preparing the oysters for the servers to pick up. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us with our selections of a dozen oysters and was spot on. We split two other meals which were also extremely good, can't wait to return. The Winsor House built in 1803 is a beautiful location to sit and enjoy a very nice meal with a great atmosphere , pleasant waitstaff and no rush attitude.

    Delicious brunch menu! We were so impressed. Everything was so good. One diner with celiac was well accommodated with gluten free options (not marked on menu but wait staff and chef well versed on options). Fresh ingredients and the best oysters in New England.

    Had another great experience. May I suggest addressing the size of utensils paired with different offerings? The fork provided for the beautiful and fine crudo was large enough to spear a whale & the spoon provided for the panna cotta could paddle a row boat. Otherwise...carry on !

    The food was excellent. However, there were issues. First, we made a 6:30 p.m. reservation for 2 outside seating requested (health issues) almost a week in advance. We showed up on time and were told no outside seating available - and they did not know when it would be. We waited over an hour before being seated. Second, the 8% “administrative fee” added to all checks is an insult to customers. Winsor House claims it is for back of house employees who do not share in tip pool. Sounds like employee expense/overhead. I am all for paying them more. Just be honest/transparent and work it into the already high restaurant prices instead of trying to slip it by as some special fee. We will not be going back anytime soon.

    This was the absolute best dining out experience I have had in the last year. Food was outstanding. We had oysters, burgers, fries, driveway clams, and chocolate cake. Everything was perfect and delicious. Fun wine selection. Would highly recommend.

    As usual, the ICO Winsor House continues to be amazing. new menu options along with some old favorites, and a constantly evolving list of special drinks in the rum- themed bar are outstanding. The service is always friendly and fast. Arctic Char- special, and the caviar service is unique. always love it here!!

    Had a lovely brunch on the patio. The service was excellent and friendly and the restaurant decor inside was beautiful. We enjoyed everything we tried and the brunch entrée portions were generous.

    I think it was an off night for a place that I’ve loved visiting 4-5 times already this year. Oysters and raw bar were terrific as always, table service is super friendly and helpful, although pacing was off and a bit disorganized. A few dishes coming out of the kitchen were not on par with previous meals. When I mentioned on the way out that things seemed a bit off this night compared to usual, I immediately regretted saying something based on the tone of the response. Pity. It’s worth a visit for the raw bar and appetizers but I’d skip mains and dessert next time until things are ironed out. Still cheering the whole team on!

    We stopped here for a light meal after a movie. We shared the Caesar salad with fried oysters and fries. We each ordered a not you hamburger from the appetizer menu and they were delicious.

    After the amazing oyster tour we walked over for some food. We got the small plates and each was delicious. Chandler was our server and he was very friendly as were the host and hostess. We said as we were leaving we just wish it wasn’t so far away or we’d definitely be back more often!

    Great restaurant and nice bar area. The oysters are excellent as were the fish dishes. Service is a bit spotty and feels stressed - like many other restaurants, they may be experiencing staffing challenges. The restaurant is noisy, which doesn't bother me, but may bother some. Food is good to great but not excellent hence the modest rating on overall value.

    John was a great waiter. Knowledgeable and warm in his demeanor. Chef Ben has created some really unusual and delightful plays on traditional New England seaside food. We will be making this establishment a regular for us!

    The “it’s not clam chowder “ is one of best things I’ve ever eaten! we also had the driveway clams, excellent. It’s fine dining seafood reasonably priced and you can dress as casual as you like. I started with a fabulous goose martini with three blue cheese olives and oysters grown across the street topped with caviar. Our bill was quite reasonable considering the wonderful food experience
