   Fantastic position with wonderful views ,food above average ,well worth a visit, we shared popping prawn baguette and crab sandwich last summer ,both were excellent fresh and tasty

   We come back to the Winking Prawn year after year. Fantastic setting, delicious food, great service and such hard working people working there. It is busy from breakfast all the way through to late evening dinner and it is always clean and tidy and welcoming. You have a fantastic reputation Winkng Prawn, we are from Gloucestershire and many people know of you there already! We will be back, thank you again.... a piece of heaven!

   Top drawer - had the outdoor BBQ - great value at 20 quid a head. Nice vibe beside North Sands and student waiters. Went back for buffet breakfast this am - superb!

   Very well located seafood restaurant just outside Salcombe and opposite the beach. Obviously a popular venue and food was very good. Wine list a little predictable but not too bad. Generally rather good.

   great restaurant, always a good atmosphere. its a beach café, but starting to look a little tired. ready for redecoration - would restore it to near perfection

   Miserable service waitress and boss. Over priced average food. Lobster a complete! rip off: size of one scampi, £25: utter joke.

   Have been here plenty of times but not for some time to eat dinner. Whilst food was lovely the service was not good at all with the exception of one young lad who was spot on. Real shame it has gone like this.

    We were given 2 options of dinner 6 or 8 We chose 6 A bit early but I’d rather eat earlier than later We arrived at 5.45 and walked in on a very wet and windy day We approached the staff and told them that we arrived Immediately we’re told you need to vacate the table at 7.30 As the table was booked again Most annoying I don’t like being told how quickly we need to eat Anyway not needed because the speed at we we were served was incredible This was our 2nd visit to TWP and our last visit 2years ago was delightful Ok it was August bank holiday and the weather was better but now hint of being hurried along However the food was good and we were out and on our way by 7.15 Note to staff Don’t drill your customers about time limitations It’s not good for the digestion or for your reviews on places like this Probably wouldn’t come again in a hurry
