The Wine Kitchen on the Creek is a restaurant – wine bar featuring all that is good about food and wine, and specializing in what is great about sharing them together with friends and family. Our Seasonal American Bistro Menu prepared by chef Jeff Beard highlights the bountiful resources found in and around our region. Our mission is to search out the highest quality, freshest, most delicious ingredients, and prepare them in their most honest form. Eat, simply. We search high and low to find outstanding wines that are true representations of their place and varietal, then pour them for you. Drink, simply.

Great experience at the Wine Kitchen! I had booked a table inside, but once I got there, it was too hot to stay out, so I got a table inside. It was actually much better: there were very few other people inside, I didn't feel concerned about people breathing out too close to me. The food was outstanding. The smoked salmon eggs benedict were delicious. The *only* tiny thing that was missing was perhaps a bed of lettuce to go along with it. The glazed pecan French toast was superb as well. My bloody Mary was amazing and just spicy enough. I'll definitely be back if dining in Frederick again.

Food was not as excellent as usual (? missing ingredients due to supplies), but the table outside was sent up in an excellent fashion for covid protection and service was excellent as well.

We were very comfortable dining inside. Everyone wore masks and the whole restaurant seemed clean. The tables are well staffed and the wait staff was friendly and accommodating.

When making the reservation for Father's Day, they were beyond accommodating with everything going on with COVID and did everything to make the experience enjoyable. The food was amazing and the décor/vibe of the restaurant was very nice! Would 10/10 recommend. We also came with 2 young kids and was worried it wasn't going to be family friendly but it most definitely was!

We enjoyed great service and food. There are 2 separate menus, one for beverages and one for food. Both menus have many great choices. All precautions were taken with regard to COVID-19.

We went amidst the COVID-19 reopening. Due to the drastically reduced seating capacity, we were lucky to enjoy some very private moment in a very popular restaurant. We both ordered the Wagyu beef burger which were simply wonderful with tenderness and intense beef taste. The wine by the glass is some of the best in this business. Mine did not disappoint.

First time out since pandemic. Still our favorite restaurant along Carroll Creek. The staff is adjusting and so are the customers. We had a stellar meal with wine sampling and a lovely birthday celebration for a family of three. Well worth the price of admission!

One of the best dining experiences in Frederick. Wonderful ambiance and incredible drink menu. If you are in to wine as I am, this place is a must - they have wonderful wine flights that come paired with hilarious wine description cards that are both funny and totally accurate. Last night we splurged and had 3 courses. Starting with the buffalo chicken fries, incredible. The fries were crispy and mixed with wonderful chicken confit and house made buffalo sauce topped off with a delectably soft cloud of blue cheese mouse. The blue cheese mouse has a similar consistency of whipped cream and was the perfect foil for the fries/chicken under neath. Added to the top was some shaved celery to add a nice fresh crunch. We also had oysters which are always good here. Super clean, fresh, medium salinity and not too large and topped off with a wonderful mignonette. For dinner I had the wagu selection which was a sirloin cap. Normally I am a filet person but let me tell you this steak was one of the most flavorful steaks I have ever consumed. I ordered my steak rare so I was concerned the fat might be chewy but this was absolutely not the case - my steak was perfectly charred, juicy and melted in my mouth. It was topped with a fragrant herb butter and paired with crisp French green beans and whipped potatoes. My meal was so
good that my date ended up eating half of it along with all of his meal. For desert we had coffee and the S’mores. The coffee is served in a French press and was the perfect amount of strong and bitter paired with our sweet treat. When the s’mores came out we were blown away by the presentation which seemed like something you’d see on Top Chef. It was a wonderfully constructed interpretation of the modern s’more. The semifreddo in the dish was creamy and sweet and had a wonderful consistency. Next time your in the mood to treat yourself to an incredible dining experience check this place out!

We came here for our first date during Frederick restaurant week. I know that sounds like a risky move for a first date but I have been wanting to go to this place for a long time. Anyway, the food and wine was great. It explained why this place is always crowded. I had a tuna tartar taco for appetizer and cod fish for dinner. Both were quite original and very tasty. My date had a salad which she didn’t finish and a sirloin steak that she liked.

The food that we had was amazing. It was probably one of the best meals I have ever had. They had great presentation too. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about their menu and helped me chose a cocktail that I really enjoyed. I was surprised how loud the place was. I was expecting a more quiet location. However, it was still possible to hold a conversation. I would highly recommend this location to others.

We enjoyed the Restaurant week menu (steak & Persian chic) and well as the Chianti. The Cobb salad was delicious. The mini tuna tartare tacos were smaller than we expected. We had a wonderful time.

This was the best experience yet at the Wine Kitchen. Tom P was an amazing server. His effervescent personality really helped to make our evening more enjoyable. He is a true asset to the Wine Kitchen.

Our desserts were delayed and the manager came over with complimentary trial mock tails to get our input. That was a much appreciated touch. Both the manager and the server made us feel like very welcomed guests.

It was a most enjoyable evening.

I cannot say enough to express how fantastic our experience was here! We came here during Restaurant Week for lunch. Jason (owner) and Jeff(chef) do a very nice job here. The RW offering was from the normal menu and well worth the price. Food was tasty, well prepared, nicely presented and ample portion. Service by Corey was attentive and professional. Kat who runs FOH was pleasant to speak with. Keep up the good work!

Business trip, solo dinner. Ended up taking food to go. Fried green tomatoes were ok
- not the best I’ve ever had. The bacon jam took the burger over the top in a good way - fries were a little saltier than my taste but otherwise good. I think my favorite part was the glass of wine that I had I love that they brought a little info card with it. Would definitely go back and try something different just for the ambiance.
