The Wine Cellar at Flight Restaurant
Everyone at the table was very pleased with the whole experience. We will be coming back.
Service was superb. Food consistently very good. Look forward to coming back.
Our server was Hanna and she was super helpful and friendly. She even gave us some touristy tips.
The meal, we got the flight of salad , soup, dinner and dessert, was delicious. Lots of flavor! The flights were still large portions so we split them among our group.
Better than upstairs. Cozier and not as loud. Outstanding service. Menu is the same as upstairs.
We ate at The Wine Cellat at Flight after seeing a matinee show at The Orpheum. We had a great experience! The atmosphere is elegant but fun and unique, and our server Jared was attentive and knowledgeable. The food and beverage flights were delicious. We’ll be back, thank you!
Flight was a very pleasant surprise. The wine cellar was a very intimate venue, great wait staff and the food was outstanding, but it is a little loud, making small talk at the table a little tough. Great drinks, and I love the idea of small plates so you can mix and match various foods. I will be back.
Bananas Foster Bread Pudding is life! Ask for Jeffrey - 5star service.
I like it better than upstairs, and I LOVE upstairs. The environment in the wine cellar is a bit more relaxed, yet still very elegant, same excellent service. We had a cozy corner to ourselves. Food was outstanding, as per usual.
Unique experience, excellent food. Would highly recommend
Flight is always outstanding in every way. My favorite restaurant in Memphis!
I’ve been to flight many times before but upstairs. This was a unique experience with the history as a jewelry repair shop. The mirrors are stunning.
The food as always was very good, the service was off. The waiter was in a rush and didn’t listen to our orders.
Over all very good.
We had an amazing dinner—top notch food and service.
If you ever get the opportunity to reserve a table in the cellar do it! This far exceeded my expectations. The food was wonderfully prepared and the perfect portion size. Our server was pleasant and patient and offered suggestions for the vegan in the family.
Great food & service, we will be back next time in Memphis
We have eaten in the cellar before but this time is was a tad noisey. There where 3 large groups.
Fantastic meal and service
Outstanding food (we had quail, surf&turf, duck confit..), excellent wine (Mollydooker Shiraz!!), great service . Alltoghether one of the best dinners we ever had in the US.
The wine cellar was amazing. We enjoyed the deviled eggs and bone marrow for starters, which was outstanding! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the redfish, chicken and waffles, bison ribeye, Atlantic halibut, duck confit, and scallop Benedict. Flight specializes in small plates full of flavors and exciting tastes. Our server Stuart was amazing along with the other wait staff as well. Everything from walking through the doors and being greeted to the service to the food and the managers coming and checking on our table was absolutely amazing. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!! 11/10 !!! Over the top amazing
A most interesting restaurant, with great ambiance. We had no idea what we were getting into, but to be able to do the different "flights" of entrees was fun and tasty. If you haven't been, you can get "flights" of matched entrees; basically, smaller portions of three different types of meat which add up to one whole entree. I ordered one that was an Angus, Elk and Bison filets. But another flight had duck on it and I could substitute the Duck for the Angus beef.
And if you don't want to do it that way, you can just order a regular entree. My wife had her heart sent on having seafood and got a whole filet of some fish that she really enjoyed.
But everything was great and well-prepared. Attentive and pleasant staff, too.
Amazing service!…definitely enjoyed the bread which is only the beginning of an amazing flight meal
I brought my mother here for Mother's Day. I thought the wine cellar was in the main dining area, but it was actually downstairs. It was quite a pleasant surprise. The Wine Cellar a Flight is dimly lit, more intimate, and I enjoyed it the quieter setting. Also, complementary valet parking is such a golden idea, considering the restaurant's location on Main.
The food was AMAZING. Enough said.
Finally, our waitress - I believe her name was Lexi - was very attentive and patient with us. I noticed she had a lot of tables too, so the level of professionalism and poise she maintained is definitely worth mentioning.
In conclusion, everything about our experience was fabulous and we'll definitely be returning!
5 stars, is second to none every single time. I’ve never had a dish here that was anything less than fantastic.
Hidden gem. We visited prior to an Orpheum concert. Excellent service. Food delicious as usual. Bartender made a VERY good Old Fashioned. You feel like you are walking down to a “hidden speakeasy”. Cool ambiance and a new favorite of ours. Two BIG THUMBS UP👍👍
