Very good service and food. There is a lot of construction going on in that neighborhood so it was outside noise at lunch that was bothersome. Big portions on the lunch entrees so you could share if you don't have a huge appetite. Salads are delicious and a nice size for one person with a good appetite. I had the falafel waffles which were great, but heavy for one person. My husband had the friend fish sandwich which he felt was more batter than fish, but still good. All food is beautifully presented. Very attentive and friendly waiters.
I’ve walked by this place a million times and never thought much of it beyond a hotel bar. Saw a bunch of good reviews and decided to try it and I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s super bright and airy, buzzy with music but not too loud to hear your conversations. The food was delicious, highly recommend the shakshuka and Italian spritz if you like brunch cocktails. Service was very attentive. Quick but never felt rushed. If you’re looking for a place close to MSG, penn station etc but a better vibe this is a good spot, or if you’re like me and love smith but want to try something new every now and then I recommend checking out the Wilson!!
Sat. lunch with friends. New to all of us. Very impressed with very good food, and excellent service.
The ambiance was lovely. Bright, and cheery décor. Pleased with the experience. Keep up the good work.
Amazing. Great venue, decor, and menu. Great service and a really nice “business lunch” special menu. I was floored as there aren’t many good places in that neighborhood, and I’m thrilled and will be back?!
Great food, great atmosphere, overpriced wine.
unclear that this is a hotel breakfast, and not a brunch spot. cost $28 for some eggs and toast per person.
Sal, I think was his name, was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Being in the business I appreciate someone who knows their stuff and knows when to stay away as well. Grilled octopus was tender, ribeye cooked perfectly, sides were excellent and creative. I’ll be back and recommend to my local friends. Great job all around. And the hostess was very accommodating and friendly upon entering. Mgr stopped by which is always appreciated especially since there was no reason to.
See u again
Good food- service was terrible at first, waited nearly 30 minutes for our first round of drinks, but they soon corrected it. Hostess wasn’t very pleasant but we only had to talk to her once.
Great spot, friendly staff. My salad was great, except for the shrimp I added on- it was extremely over cooked.
Overall, looking to return back soon.
great service. very clean look of restaurant. different menu
Best ever!! What an excellent experience....staff is amazing...extremely friendly and attentive. Food is awesome. Cocktails are second to none. Ambience is over the top. Everyone should go there asap.
This is a wonderful, airy venue in the new Wilson Hotel. While the neighborhood is still changing and the street seems a tad seedy still, it is safe and well worth it to try out this new eatery. My friend and I both had salads that were fresh, delicious and lightly dressed -- just how we like them. Service was very good at lunch and it looks like they could have quite the bar scene in the evenings. I recommend it.
The staff was absolutely amazing-- super attentive and thoughtful, the food was great, and the drinks were creative and yummy. Would definitely go back.
Expensive weird main dishes — Brick chicken was a half chicken on a plate, tasty but no sides, just 4 teeny and completely burnt potato halves, nothing green. No bread.
Great for a quick and easy neighborhood coffee or breakfast date.
Food is delicious (try the Brussels sprout tacos and avocado fries!) and had amazing drinks thanks to the bar manager helping me out as I was feeling picky. Overall, always a good time stopping by The Wilson.
The Wilson was an excellent choice to have my birthday dinner. The food was great, the space was spacious and noise level was just fine for us to be able to have conversations without yelling. Staff was very friendly. Only slight drawback was the time it took between the starters being finished and mains coming out was pretty long, but otherwise everything else was great!
Comphy couch under the atrium for relaxed lunch
It was absolutely amazing. We did the 2 hour bottomless cocktails with our brunch and even though they forgot to bring our entrees they threw in free dessert. Some of the nicest hospitality in NYC!
We went for brunch on a saturday and the service was so slow, it took us 45 minutes to get simple brunch dishes and refills for drinks. It's a super cute space but they really need to figure out the service issues.
The food was great, especially for the price relative to other dining options in the area. What made this experience was the service, which was friendly, quick, and attentive. Ambience was nice; quiet enough to have a conversation, but with enough energy to feel like you’re having a night out.
What a ripoff. It’s a hotel restaurant and if you’re not staying at the hotel it’s a $35 dollar a person for breakfast. We had instead a terrific breakfast at Maison Kayser acre blocks away for $35 for two people. Avoid this place for breakfast.
Three of us met for an after work dinner and gave the Wilson a try. A bit quiet post holiday, but service was attentive and food delicious. Carrot hummus and burgers were noteworthy. We will be back.
The Wilson has a cool modern vibe. The cocktails are creative and the appetizers were delicious. Highly recommend the brussel sprout tacos and the meatballs. Waiter was very nice and accommodating for our large group of 8.
We went to dinner for a fun girls night out. All the appetizers were delicious and unique.
The specialty drinks were great too.
We actually just got drinks but they were very good and the wait staff was great.
Was excited to be there. It’s a member of the “in good company” group with the refinery, Mondrian etc. it’s nice but doesn’t live up to the same standard as their other hotels
Business lunch- slow service. Restaurant was not busy. I used to be a regular at the other restaurant in the same location. The food was good but the service was lacking. Entree’s came out while we were still eating our appetizers, really embarrassing especially since we were dining with clients. I had to get up 2 or 3x to have someone address our needs, the first time was to place our order, request dessert and the to get the check, really? Never again.
In an area that has little to offer and the way Restaurants it was America to find a Wilsons. Good everything… Food, service, ambiance. Menu had some unusual things on it like brussels sprouts tacos. And the oyster sliders were delicious.
The space is really nice. There's an upstairs and downstairs. The biggest appeal is the cocktail menu - they offer a list of interesting drinks and the bartender/server was really friendly. The food was okay - my Brussels sprouts tacos were too salty and had to be sent back; but the other dishes were good.
Wilson's is very good. It's only been open 6 weeks but it's got a really good, varied menu and the meals are well prepared and taste great. Service is good, and attentive. Great addition to a great hotel.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BREAKFAST FOR $70 FOR 2 PEOPLE!
THIS IS THE WORST breakfast buffet with Holiday Inn style premade cold and dried eggs with everything on a warmer plate. McDonald's is better than this hole. Really!!
A top hotel breakfast with 5 star service is the same money.
Bathrooms were filthy and I was grossed out.
Love the space, the food and the service! Perfect for feeling like you’re sitting outside in the winter and the food was really creative and tasty (especially the blue crab carbonara).
Great experience. Great service. Food was fantastic
