The Brussels sprout tacos were excellent! Good food....not outstanding. The service was good.
Great birthday service!
Food was mediocre. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing to rant about. Service was bad. Slow, not attentive, shared conflicting info about the menu. I’m giving it two stars for the decor and the $7 brunch cocktails.
Met a friend for an early dinner. We were seated outside as we requested...it was a good table. Drinks were great. We both ordered a rose mix with some vodka in it...very light and smooth. We started with grilled octopus...cooked nicely. I had an arugula salad with salmon. Salmon was done to perfection. Our waiter was very attentive, and kept checking in on us.
It was a little noisy but it also was happy hour. Other than the noise level, I would return, esp for that drink!
Nice place with a great outdoor terrace. Food was excellent but the staff not so much.
A/C wasnt working very well but management and staff all very nice. Food slow coming out of kitchen but I think there was a back up. Bartender seemed a little stressed and a was a little abrupt. I put it down to the heat! and will give this place another chance..
Women’s World Cup Final
It's a great place for brunch and with a group of friends. we really enjoyed it. There was a great vibe. Awesome music.
Came for my Labrador's 13th birthday and had a perfect experience. Really good food + excellent service = highly recommend.
Those was not an enjoyable experience. Our waiter was incompetent and not accommodating. Firstly I ordered a Sazerac and he mentioned that they do not serve those. I explained to him that this is a classic cocktail and he still did not seem to understand my order. This signaled for me and my friend to order appetizers and entrées at the same time.
Our server took our order however over the next thirty minutes he returned to our table to be reminded of everything we ordered. This delayed our meal at least by twenty minutes because all parts of our meal were placed in segments. For instance he returned to remember our appetizers eight minutes after the initial order, turn fifteen minutes later asked how I’d like my steak prepared for my lobster and steak. Afterwards he came and offered to refill my drink.
A team member of his did try to assist which was appreciated. This doesn’t negate the fact that this service wasn’t befitting to the reviews or the demeanor of this place. As a customer, I felt discriminated. This was an evening dinner on Sunday. The restaurant was not busy, yet, my service was given no attention while other families and small couples were serviced. That and the « we don’t serve Sazeracs comment » is what compelled me to leave this review.
Loved the outside patio location on a lovely spring evening. Greeted by very enthusiastic waiter who was professional and made a great first impression. The food was outstanding. Great seafood preparation and my pad Thai noodle dish was extremely creative and delicious. Cocktails were also extremely creative and a cut above the norm, as was the excellent wine list. Desserts were also imaginative and well done.
Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience. I usually shy away from loud music-dominated venues, but the noise level, though high, was tasteful. I can't wait to visit again on my next trip to the City. My compliments to the chef and wait staff. This was great dining experience.
One of the best overall restaurant experiences I’ve had in my life. The customer service and energy of the workers is unmatched and I do not say this lightly. Never in my life have I received a happy birthday card signed by employees at a restaurant in my life...not until dining at The Wilson, that is. Not only did we receive a birthday card but we also received two complimentary glasses of champagne and a dessert with candles! Not to mention the friendly and engaging conversation. They go above and beyond...not just with the customer service either. The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing. I can not recommend dining at The Wilson highly enough. Also, the elevators and decor are something special. Do yourself a favor and grab dinner there!
They were amazing. We came for my best friends birthday dinner and they were so attentive and extremely generous! We ordered a bottle of champagne and they sent over an extra one on the house! We sat in their outdoor space and loved it.
Good Sunday brunch. Was near our NOMAD hotel. Ribeye steak and eggs, premium breakfast burger and breakfast pot pie all very good items. Wife had a cornbread dish which was OK.
Great outdoor setting and good service. Grilled octopus was delicious but mahimahi special was overcooked.
Such great service, had my birthday there. It was perfect.
Sat for 16 minutes before receiving a drink. Service was super slow/off but food and everything else was amazing!!!
Great brunch! Delicious food, friendly service, and super reasonable prices. Decor was very cute. Will be back.
Great spot for nicer weather as we got to sit outside! Food was delicious, server was knowledgeable and helpful
Food was excellent. Our waiter, Sal was very attentive. Asked if we had any food allergies. Service was quick. We would definitely go there again.
Took an hour and a half to get out food on a slow Tuesday night. Think they forgot everyone else around us received they're and we ordered salads and a sandwich. Ridiculous
Went to The Wilson for brunch. Food and drinks were excellent, and our waiter was really friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The management team truly makes sure you have a wonderful experience.
Our moms night out at The Wilson made us feel like hip 20-somethings again. Great food, cool place, fun night.
As always, the staff was as impeccable as the food and drinks! I love coming here, for both every-day and special occasions.
Having dined at one of the other restaurants affiliated with the Wilson, expectations were high. The food was delicious, the staff was gracious and the ambiance was nice. I think it will be even better during warmer months. Can't wait to go back and find out.
The food was great but service was slow!
Met for Saturday brunch with three friends. Great ambiance, not too loud.
Brunch reservation made a week in advance: First impression was hostess and manager unable to make contact with any of three parties that arrived at one time by eye contact or voice greeting. When hostess spoke to parties waiting the manager shushed. After attending to 3 phone calls we were Finally seated
Seating & space nice!
After seated with menus, 15 minutes for waiter. Waiter reassigned twice but all three nice.
Food is creative, healthy, diverse and above average, which is a happy ending to brunch.
Very good service and food. There is a lot of construction going on in that neighborhood so it was outside noise at lunch that was bothersome. Big portions on the lunch entrees so you could share if you don't have a huge appetite. Salads are delicious and a nice size for one person with a good appetite. I had the falafel waffles which were great, but heavy for one person. My husband had the friend fish sandwich which he felt was more batter than fish, but still good. All food is beautifully presented. Very attentive and friendly waiters.
I’ve walked by this place a million times and never thought much of it beyond a hotel bar. Saw a bunch of good reviews and decided to try it and I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s super bright and airy, buzzy with music but not too loud to hear your conversations. The food was delicious, highly recommend the shakshuka and Italian spritz if you like brunch cocktails. Service was very attentive. Quick but never felt rushed. If you’re looking for a place close to MSG, penn station etc but a better vibe this is a good spot, or if you’re like me and love smith but want to try something new every now and then I recommend checking out the Wilson!!
Sat. lunch with friends. New to all of us. Very impressed with very good food, and excellent service.
The ambiance was lovely. Bright, and cheery décor. Pleased with the experience. Keep up the good work.
Amazing. Great venue, decor, and menu. Great service and a really nice “business lunch” special menu. I was floored as there aren’t many good places in that neighborhood, and I’m thrilled and will be back?!
Great food, great atmosphere, overpriced wine.
unclear that this is a hotel breakfast, and not a brunch spot. cost $28 for some eggs and toast per person.
Sal, I think was his name, was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Being in the business I appreciate someone who knows their stuff and knows when to stay away as well. Grilled octopus was tender, ribeye cooked perfectly, sides were excellent and creative. I’ll be back and recommend to my local friends. Great job all around. And the hostess was very accommodating and friendly upon entering. Mgr stopped by which is always appreciated especially since there was no reason to.
See u again
Good food- service was terrible at first, waited nearly 30 minutes for our first round of drinks, but they soon corrected it. Hostess wasn’t very pleasant but we only had to talk to her once.
Great spot, friendly staff. My salad was great, except for the shrimp I added on- it was extremely over cooked.
Overall, looking to return back soon.
great service. very clean look of restaurant. different menu
Best ever!! What an excellent experience....staff is amazing...extremely friendly and attentive. Food is awesome. Cocktails are second to none. Ambience is over the top. Everyone should go there asap.
