Great staff, beautiful ambiance, and the cocktails are made with the upmost attention to detail- beautiful and delicious. I’m already planning my next visit!!
I met my friend for birthday brunch on Saturday. Beautiful ambiance, great menu, love your selection of teas and it’s perfect for any occasion. You can’t go wrong with brunch or high tea at The Williamsburg Hotel. It’s a whole vibe.
Was there for afternoon tea service, they definitely do not know how to make tea.
Beautiful ambiance but terrible food. All of the dishes ordered were subpar but people mainly Come here for the aesthetic and to hang out. May be cute for drinks!
NYE dinner with a $125 prefix menu, food was average at best and Def not worth $125. And we tried everything on the menu...
It will be a fantastic hidden oasis to get some casual food and drink in very relaxed specious interior however the Christmas 3 course dinner we ordered was not worth the value of quality and portion of what it cost $95/ per.
Brunch menu not sufficient, Staff shortage evident.
service was terrible food was really average very expensive as it’s williamsburg
Went for high tea. Apparently they had a wedding earlier in the day and a lot of the items were out. They tried to pawn off half the usual amount without a discount, but we balked at that and returned the towers. We wound up having wagyu burgers with truffle fries which were great. Service was not particularly good. Wouldn't go back.
The afternoon tea was appalling and tasted like something that was defrosted from a freezer. It is NOT worth the price, and is surely not a good afternoon tea
High Tea - nice experience
Great customer service and lovely hotel. We had an rsvp for the rooftop bar as well, but it got cancelled (after we got there) cause of a private event so that was the only negative but overall a nice experience.
Amazing holiday high tea!
Took my daughter there for afternoon tea. Wonderful experience. Great service. Beautiful room. Lovely. We usually go to hotels in Manhattan for afternoon tea. This was as fantastic if not better.
The food was the most blah. Everything lacked salt.
Caesar salad- was excited for the homemade Caesar dressing. Tasted like a mouthful of wet romaine with parm cheese
Pasta dish-prawns were overcooked(mushy and fell completely apart when trying to de-shell. Bucatini was overcooked. The heat in this dish overwhelmed any other flavors.
Lamb chops were tender and cooked to a perfect medium but again whole dish lacked salt and just nothing special.
Great food, attentive staff and nice ambience. Overall, wonderful experience.
This was my second visit to the Williamsburg Hotel. I was nostalgic about the great attention to detail and good food I had there back in 2019, so decision to try again with friends from out of town. My table got the salmon and sea bass, both of which left much to be desired. I even swapping plates with my cousin hopping the others was a better option. The scallops which were on special and hawked to us, was too salty. The wine choices were not much better either. The best dish we had was the Tuna Carpaccio. In all of this, our waiter was so inattentive and had his back to the restaurant (and his guests) most of the evening. I even once had to tell another server to go get him. I don’t think I’ll be coming back soon..,
Beautiful space, downtown manhattan vibe (in brooklyn). We went on a friday and they had a DJ with good background music, not too loud tho. The waiter Jonathan was terrific, attentive, knowledgeable. For apps we had the fried calamari, hummus, and a pumpkin soup. Mains we did the sea bass, burger, some vegan thing for one of our guests. Drinks - I had the martini which was a little watered down but that happens literally everywhere. For $17 however, it shouldn't... Only thing to note it's not cheap but that area in general is pricey. We didn't get anything crazy, one person didn't drink alcohol, one person had 1 drink, and 2 people had 3 drinks. Dinner for 4 with tip came to $460. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
Wonderfully experience, the live band was such a treat!
Wonderful quick service. Food was good. Grateful to be seated immediately without a reservation. There is a rooftop bar that opens at 7pm which is also a nice way to dinner.
The food is delicious the place fantastic I love it so much
Great company and perfect ambience
Great ambiance, good food , the martini glasses need to be bigger
Food was awful. Staff forgot about our table and waited so long for our drinks. Had to go inside and track down staff to then be brushed off. Our patio umbrella was not secured and the umbrella fell on top of my head. Mentioned to the staff and it was brushed off. The umbrella was a large wooden umbrella that was very heavy. Mentioned to the staff multiple times calmly and I just received a response of “that’s weird, this is one of our more secure umbrellas”. Why are any less secure than the others? Staff finally decided to comp the two drinks we had but was of no help. The whole experience was bad all around from beginning to end. Would not recommend.
Met my friend for high tea one Sunday afternoon. Absolutely great value. Every savory and sweet was delicious. Great scones a plus! Cutest tea ware. Jazz band was a nice touch. Service was good. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.
Wonderful food, atmosphere, service and ambiance. We went for breakfast and found everything delicious. It is nearly impossible to find a decent restaurant that is open for early breakfast in the area. So, happy we found this one.. The avocado toast and blueberry pancakes were amazing. The service was awesome too. We will definitely come back.
It was a beautiful ambiance and our server was very cordial, but the food really fell short of expectations. Lots happening on the plate, yet not a whole lot of flavor.
The High Tea was amazing! Definitely would go again
I did high tea with a group of 10 at the Williamsburg Hotel and it was a great experience! The staff were great, the food and tea were delicious, and everything was so beautiful and elegant. Would definitely recommend!
I was rather surprised at the level
If service and quality of food we received on our first visit to the hotel & restaurant for brunch. From three place settings and water for five people: to another 20-30 minutes for more water and beverages: not to mention the watered down Bloody Mary served once with just a pepper and second with celery and pepper but no spice. Very disappointing and I’ll never restart to dine.
I’ll certainly give the rooftop another chance - although the table servers there were not the friendliest or hospitable - the views and self service might help next time.
Took my husband to a high tea at the hotel. His first.
Excelente comida, atención, servicio 💯% recomendado
La música estaba demasiado alta y el lugar estaba muy oscuro
Outstanding ambiance! The staff were very professional and helpful. Highly recommended for a delicious meal.
Beautiful ambience. Good Food at moderate prices. Lovely rooftop. Service a little slow.
I booked their high tea this afternoon. Service was abysmal… took forever for someone to even come with water. Then my treats showed up quickly but not my pot of tea. I waited several minutes… and finally had to flag someone down to get my tea.
I’m writing this from my table. I finished my food quite some time ago and I’m still waiting for someone to come check in and bring me my check. The servers are all very kind when they’re at my table, but for some reason they’re either outnumbered or just focused in the dining room and outdoor eating area.
The food was spectacular, especially the tres leches cheesecake. It was all very delicious, and we overall had a great time. However, the waiter gave my pregnant friend an alcoholic drink when we specifically asked for non-alcoholic, and then he joked about it when we pointed it out. We didn't think it was funny.
Awful. Food was gross. Service was terrible. Never going back. Ever.
I loved the experience and I have recommended to friends and family. Service can improve a little but it’s understandable due to the current situation .
High tea was such a quaint and elegant experience, I would love to do it again. It would be nice if it were up in the rooftop bar with views of the city. But the interior design and decor elements throughout the hotel restaurant are very aesthetically pleasing, it’s hard to not enjoy the ambiance wherever you are. The teas and tiered sweet and savory foods were all good, and after eating just about half of them I was already full. Our server was kind enough to make substitutions for our dietary restrictions. The jazz music was a tad on the uptempo side for me. I would have preferred a smoother sound for the ambiance, but it was still a nice touch.
