The food was very good. The service was a little slow because there seemed to be only one server working the whole restaurant, which was full. They keep the lighting very low, a bit too low for us. And the full restaurant was pretty noisy with little to absorb the sound.

The Wild Goose never disappoints. The food is delicious and it is consistent in the preparation. Jay, the bartender and Emma, the hostess and manager go over and above to make the patrons feel welcome and comfortable. The Wild Goose is my “go to” restaurant when dining out.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in port Washington. Great drinks, delicious appetizers and main courses. This time I had Amish roast chicken and steamed mussels appetizer. My husband has their tri color salad with feta and chicken with ginger and rice.

As a neighborhood favorite we dine here every week or two. Good variety of dishes and they are always willing to substitute sides, eliminate a sauce, etc got meet our needs. If you're looking for edgy cuisine the Wild Goose isn't fir you; more traditional dishes but done quite well from skirt steak to fried chicken to the salads and appetizers. Excellent service is the norm!!

Everything about the evening was a 10! All four of us thought our food was delicious and the presentation excellent. The staff was courteous and accommodating. We’ll be surely be back. Might be my new favorite local restaurant.

Very enjoyable brunch menu. The bellini was perfect! I fully enjoyed my lobster omelette with a side of the most perfectly seasoned home fries, which tasted light and airy and were just the correct amount. The yuzu apple crisp with vanilla ice cream was quite generous. I took most of it home! Coffee was also fresh and tasty. Our server was attentive but allowed us to relax and we were not rushed.

Excellent food and service. One of the best things about Wild Goose is that you can order anything on the menu-specials or standards-and it’s always fantastic. Everyone involved in the experience is friendly and professional and I’ve found the service is always excellent.

The cleanliness of the restaurant and the rest rooms are excellent. The food and portions are generous and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended, definitely worth a visit. We ordered pinenut crusted salmon served on a bed of baby spinach, white asparagus and cherry tomatoes, excellent! The chicken Cobb sandwich was very tasteful and the portion size was perfect. The clams on a half shell were plump and cold. The lobster spring roll is a perfect appetizer for getting the meal started. Looking forward for our next visit. Parking is not an issue.

The food is excellent and pricing is reasonable. Service is excellent only because the hostess pitches in and does almost everything herself. Never saw anyone work as diligently. She makes the place work as they are short on help. Definitely worth a try. Only complaint is the noise level. Owners should fix that.

Food was good. We asked maitre d if she could move the large flower pot in the window sill because the fake flowers were hitting against a guest at the table. All she had to do was slide it over 6". Instead she said "we can't move the flowers" and walked away. Not a good look.

One of the most consistent restaurants. Food and service is always great. This time around started out with the shaved vegetable salad and tuna poke. For entrees had the skirt steak and roasted skate with farro. Dishes were all tasty and well prepared. It’s great for a date night or meet up with friends.

We had a delicious meal. They were super accommodating to our food allergies and there were many! Our waitress was attentive and she offered good substitutions for the things we couldn’t have. We felt very confident that our food would be safe. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I can’t wait to go back. We had salads, duck tacos, salmon, pork chop and the tuna. All were outstanding!

As we were about to be seated, our table was given to another group that didn't like their table. Our drink order was taken promptly but we waited for 20 minutes for our dinner order to be taken. I and my friend ordered the pork chop and told the waitress that it was important for our chops to be pink on the inside and not well done. We were told that was not a problem. Our dinners arrived 45 minutes later only to have our chops well done and leathery. We returned them and told the waitress that our other 2 companions would be eating and to get the dishes out as soon as possible. 15 minutes later, they were not out and no one told us when they would be out. Since our friends were finishing up, we had no choice but to ask for the check. We were offered dessert, but who wanted dessert without eating dinner. They gave us our dinners to take home without charge. It was a noisy and frustrating evening. I will never return to this restaurant.

We had not dined at Wild Goose after having a very poor experience when they first opended. We did enjoy the evening as the food was quite tasty! For a Wednesday night the restaurant was very full and the noise level made it very difficult to talk.

Four of us dined. Eight different appetizers and entrees, plus one order of pigs in a blanket and two desserts. Four cocktails, one moderately priced bottle of wine. All food and cocktails were excellent. Service was professional and spot- on. With generous tip, bill came to under $400. Good value these days. Highly recommended.
