   Everything is excellent from the time you walk in the door. The hostess is warm & welcoming, the bartender makes great cocktails, the wait staff is attentive. The food is consistently delicious.

   Bar service was very good. Food service not so much. Food delivered cold. Steak o poive was tough and baked potato was dry and inedible despite two trips to kitchen. I really enjoy this restaurant typically and often recommend it to others but sadly this visit was not up to par.

   Only 2 people working. A bartender and one waiter. It wasn’t terrible but if you needed something you had to wait awhile.

   First time here- the food was fantastic. Mediterranean Plate was excellent. I ordered the special venison which was the best I’ve ever had (I’ve tried venison about five times before at other restaurants). Everyone in our group was raving about their food too. Noise level is a bit high but not overwhelming. Great location within walking distance of Landmark theatre where we saw a comedy show after dinner. Highly recommend this place.

   I love everything about this place. Food, service, and ambiance. My second visit and not my last. We loved everything, onion soup, arugula and fennel salad, and artichoke salad.

    The staff is friendly and inviting. The noise level is a bit loud, but the food is excellent. I have been many times now and can say that I have never experienced a bad meal. Kudos!

    Service was spotty, with infrequent checking. Ordered a steak and it was served room temperature. When I flagged down our server - she took the steak back. 15 minutes later it was returned only a few degrees hotter. Ten minutes later when the server checked and asked how the steak was I told her. She offered to take the steak back but as my wife was already done with her meal, I told her not to bother. No apology and it was the last time we saw our server. Another server came by and asked if we wanted dessert and when we said no, just dropped off the check.

    My first visit to Wild Goose and we were pleasantly impressed. The starters of artichoke salad nicely dressed, and then a delightful chicken breast with vegetable fried rice, the sauce was delicious. Service was great and can’t wait to go back.

    I’ve never had a bad meal at Wild Goose. The menu is fantastic and they always have great specials. This weekend we had the branzino and the venison leg both were outstanding and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Mediterranean platter for an appetizer and the Italian old fashioned. They have an excellent wine menu and the service is always great. There sorbets and ice creams are homemade and a great finish to our meal.

    Emma and the rest of the staff were, as usual, very friendly and accommodating. No rush, took care of special requests. Even knew what wine my wife likes before she was ready to order it. We consider the Wild Goose our neighborhood go to place for good food, good value.

    Great menu with lots of goodies on it. Ambience is very romantic. Food is always good to excellent. And service is excellent - they know what they are doing here which is a real plus for any restaurant these days. It is our 4th time here in the last few months and one of my favorites. I'll be back to try more dishes. Thank you for being so consistent.

    We chose the Wild Goose because of its location, close to The Landmark Theater. We told our server that we had a show to catch. One person ordered soup that came out quickly. He said that it was delicious. Everyone else only ordered main dishes. It took quite a long time for our meals to be served. We spoke to the Manager and she told us that the kitchen was concentrating on “to go” meals. Really? The restaurant was hopping. They clearly won’t miss us. Ohhhh… all meals were delicious and served hot.

    We love The Wild Goose! Food is excellent, generous portions, terrific service—friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable. You can have a conversation without yelling. Our party had the bolognese, chicken w sausage, flank steak, osso bucco ALL wonderful. Fried rice is great. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

    Loved the fish tacos special and salt and pepper shrimp appetizer. Wonderful service. The background music is too loud. But because the restaurant was not crowded, I was able to hear my dinner companion.I generally avoid this restaurant because of the noise, but lucked out yesterday.

    The food was exceptionally good. We are very eclectic and so pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. The only thing I found shocking was the additional charge for extra olives for my martini. Seriously?

    Always a pleasure to visit the wild goose. This time with my adult children who are visiting for Thanksgiving. Food was delicious, service was warm and consistent. I highly recommend the wild goose.
