Lovely atmosphere and great staff and food was delicious. Nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant and bathroom spotless. Every care is taken to look after guests.

I had seen the sign for the Wild Goose on many trips to and from Donegal and other counties and always wanted to try it but never did. Then I won a voucher for there so I took it as a sign and decided to have a catchup with friends there. Each and everyone of us absolutely loved it. I tasted all my friend's food and everything was delicious. The Chicken & Mushroom Vol au Vant for starter stands out for me as the sauce was just devine oh and the mashed potato that I had with my salmon dinner was mouth watering! We will definitely go back there again, in fact, I've already recommended it to my family in the hope we can go back there relatively soon. On an additional note, the staff were very friendly!

We had a table of 4 and each of us had a fantastic meal, staff were fabulous. We will definitely be back again in the new year

Booked dinner for 3 on Sunday. Straight forward to book. Super organized system in place at The Wild Goose. Greeted at the door by a member of staff who checked our booking who then let them know inside that we had arrived. Guided directly and promptly to our table. Cutlery individually wrapped. Food was spectacular and arrived very quickly. Staff repeatedly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. A special mention to the girl serving who I think was new. She was fabulous a really lovely person. All COVID regulations were strictly adhered to. The place runs like absolute clockwork. The staff deserve massive credit for doing such an amazing job during a very difficult time. Hats off to the wild goose for making our meal so enjoyable and giving us a bit of normlity after a very hard year.

The food in the wild goose is amazing. Compliments to the chef! The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. I have no problems recommending the wild goose in Mallow to anyone.

Booked table when we arrived it was ready service was fast and efficient felt safe with the set up hand sanitizer on table as well as when you walk in would have no problem eating there again or recommending it

Food was excellent, very quick service, good value

-chicken wings were absolutely reheated
-literal whole steak slapped in a steak sandwich that I felt like I had to disect to eat. Frozen veg that honestly looked disgusting couldn't even take a bite. Mash that had absolutely no seasoning or butter completely plain seemed like they had been reheated from earlier in the day.
Also purchased a 12 o steak was ordered medium well it came out a dry tateless slab of meat that did not appear to be fresh at all. paying 80 for a meal you'd expect more value for your money. Shame for a beautiful restaurant as seems like a gorgeous set up but unfortunately couldn't recommend as food was shocking

Fantastic flavours!
We were all very happy with our food. One person was disappointed to see that the fresh fish option that we viewed on the online Sunday Lunch menu wasn't on the menu in the restaurant. It was fairly noisy in the restaurant with a lot of young children but that is probably to be expected on a Sunday, and the employees cannot control that anyway. Just a head's up!
Social distancing and hygiene measures were really well controlled. The exception being some people & children hanging around the benches at the front door (which need to be removed for that reason).
We were greeted at the front door by a friendly, upbeat employee with a visor who communicated to employees inside via a headset. We were brought in by another employee who seated us bang on our prebooked time. We were given printed menus (which were disposed of after use). And the cutlery came out in sealed paper bags which was unexpected but good to see. Every table had an antiseptic gel dispenser on the table. The food came out within minutes which was impressive. Every employee was communicative, friendly and prompt. We couldn't be happier with the service.

Overall it was very good no complaints from any of our group would recommend to anybody

plenty room for everybody. service was prompt, as was the food. nobody made us feel as if we were in a covid risk area at any time.

had a lovely meal and enjoyed the evening, however not your fault, but there was a very annoying woman sitting at the table under the T.V., just herself and her husband. She kept looking over at me, Staring at me which made me feel very uncomfortable. I know we are not regulars and maybe she was wondering who we were but there was no need for the stares... Apart from that the meal was divine, I would highly recommend your restaurant to my friends. in fact I intend to visit with my sisters soon.

We visited this restaurant as it was the closest to the nursing home thar I was visiting an aunt. It was Sunday at lunchtime and booked it online. Staff were very friendly and all wearing masks. There were signs saying everything was sanitised including condiments. We ordered our food and it came out very quickly. Too quickly to say it was fresh however it was nice. A server came over to clean a table after a couple left and to say it took him less than one min to clean it was an understatement.

Lovely night out, great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Has gone way down hill, used to go there regularly with my partner. Went last week and had chicken goujans and chips! The chips were like a child portion and chicken gougans was like something out of the freezer. Wont be in a rush back there again for a few months!

Fantastic service, couldn’t get over how quickly we received our meals. Absolutely delicious and great value. Will be back to try their great value cocktails
