   New Year’s Eve 2018. Great night. Excellent food as always and the balance between eating, drinking and partying was struck really well. Great DJ got the party going from 10pm and with the help of some like minded partygoers we saw the new year in with a bang. Have to give a special mention to the Côte de Boeuf! Charcoal on the outside but pink in the middle. Perfect. Can’t wait for the next visit.

   Helpful and friendly staff, great ambience atmosphere for country get together with our cousins from the city! All that would be pointless without super food; spot on skinny fries and light crispy batter on fish, simple tastes can be the most difficult to get right but we all enjoyed a lovely lunch without getting stung by silly pricing. We'll be getting together again here next time!

   Really lovely, cosy, country pub with open fire. Be good if they did rooms too, which they said they have plans for in 2019. food was delicious, although a little on the pricey side. Shame they don't do Merlot by the glass, but the wine I did have (Malbec) was just as good. would definitely come again.

   Nice place but we visited on a cold day and and if you weren’t seated directly in front of the open fire it was chilly in the restaurant . Also some of the food needed to be hotter than served. And I totally disagree with the service charge, on our bill it was £30 thank goodness it was discretionary the service certainly didn’t live up to that high charge. That should be removed entirely and left at the customers discretion. Kind of changed the mood of the lunch which was a shame.

   Very good fun tonight. Food very well cooked and delicious (often a bit hit and miss at the Wild Duck - presumably depends if they have a chef on that evening). But lucky tonight Service really excellent ....just right, not too intrusive, but quick and attentive. Not cheap, but anything any good isn't is it.

   Excellent meal in a comfy pub with open fire. The kids menu was good and we liked the fact that dogs were also welcome

   Birthday celebration with friends. The food and service were both good. Steaks were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Lively atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant experience. I think the food is slightly overpriced.

    The staff very kindly moved us twice, the first time to avoid an adjacent doorway, and the second time to distance us from a noisy party. We then enjoyed our meal very much
