Very disappointing for $85 Per person. Just a ballroom with some green lights and a piano man. The main course was really good but the desert was pitiful. When I say pitiful that is putting it nicely. They started pulling table cloths off as people were done and leaving raw wood tables around as others are still eating- Very disappointed

Food choices were great but some of the items were cold like soup, ham, etc. Setting was nice for banquet hall, unfortunately we were right at a entry door so loud and hard to have a conversation plus a lot of people going in and out. Next time will request table near food as with a senior that has difficulty walking closer would have been nicer. Overall, for our first time there, not bad…we will go back

Thank you for this opportunity. This years event didn’t really have the “Warmth” or “Excitement” like last year. The Christmas decor was lackluster. The food was warm but not hot. The prime rib had hard fat and was not tasty. The ham was cold. The cheese platter was wonderful and so is the bread. As far as the potatoes and stuffing they were lukewarm. I’m not sure if we will come back next year because we think it would be nicer to have a hot meal served. I do want to express my gratitude for the wonderful staff! Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely nice and helpful. Our server was so sweet and kind and made sure we had everything that we needed.

Shocked as to how bad and the quality of the food! I don't know where to begin- carving stations, poor and tough meat- clearly low quality. Everything was steamer trays w/ all marginal foods- just plain NOT good. Whoever was in charge of this should be terminated! This is damaging to the Wigwag- I would never eat in the main restaurants based on this experiance! An extreme poor experiance ! Remeber I paid $70/ X 4 for this!

Disappointed. For a party of Six. First waiting 20 minutes to order drinks when they came 15 minutes later the waitress spilled 3 cocktails on our table. Instead of moving us ( which there were empty tables) she just wiped it on the rug and covered the wet spot. Had to ask her to bring clean silverware and napkins. Took forever to bring a cocktails. Then we had to wait for limes. So after 45 minutes with all that we finally went up to get our food. They ran out of turkey. One of the servers was going to bring us some to our table #61, but I saw him give it to someone else No one told us they were clearing the buffet. Just in case we wanted more. It wasn’t that busy so lack of attention and high price and lack of food it was very very disappointing especially for wigwam resort. Will not be back.

We attended the Wigwam Thanksgiving buffet 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it but the 2021 buffet was a different story. Instead of being a high end buffet at a high end resort hotel, the 2021 buffet was a very disappointing experience suitable suitable for a Motel 6 buffet. It was Thanksgiving and the Resort ran out of white meat leaving only cold shaved dark meat, steak, ham and salmon. The sides were plentiful but served cold by buffet servers that provided very small portions and when asked for more gave an even smaller amount and really didn’t seem to care. The buffet tables were not arranged in a logical order requiring us to go back and forth between tables e.g. if you wanted gravy for the stuffing or butter for a roll from the sides table you had to return to the meat table line to get it. The dessert was equally disappointing. Instead of having a dessert table with an inviting selection, our group of 7 was given a very small plate with small bite deserts and a separate choice of a very small piece of pie on an equally small plate. We will not be returning to the Wigwam again and recommend that people looking for a Thanksgiving or other holiday buffet look elsewhere.

I expected so much better from the Wigwam especially for the cost. I was told they ran out of white turkey meat at a thanksgiving meal! They eventually brought more out 15 minutes later but it was inedible as it was too salty. The rolls were stale and the rest of the food was bland tasting. I would not recommend ever doing this event again.

We paid $84 with tax and gratuity for each of us for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was good, not great. The first line of the buffet was too long and had too many items on it,causing what you got to get cold as you waited to get more food. They needed to put the salads, cheese and fruit and the soup at a different line. The ambiance is a bit like eating in a cafeteria. Definitely not worth the money.

The food was below par and the service was worse! i feel so duped paying what i did for a family of 7 and mind you 18 percent gratuity to boot! so, so, so disappointed!!

This is the second time dining at the Wigwam for a special event. Honestly food is terrible and for the price, $65 a person. The quality is not good. It wasn’t good for New Year’s Eve and once again disappointed. Meat was super rare, and my dad likes rare he didn’t even eat it. Dessert tasted like an elementary cafeteria. Ambiance and staff are great, but dang all the restaurants are really not good food

I was very disappointed by our Mother's Day Brunch experience. We had previously attended a Mothers Day Brunch at the Wigwam and expected the same thing - a champagne brunch with ice sculptures held in the Terrace room with views of the pool. I recall that all ladies also received a red rose - the whole event made you feel special! This so called brunch was more like a buffet lunch for work... it was held in a conference room with no windows, champagne was extra, there was no artwork or ambiance at the event. On the plus side, the food was "okay" and their was a live pianist on site and a complimentary photo for all families. Just not what one would expect from a "resort". Sadly we can't recommend this experience and at $80 per person they could have done better!!!

Easter Sunday Brunch was horrible they have nice pictures online but when we arrived it was a "cafeteria like" that they called"ballroom". The food in the buffet was cold and tasteless (it seems like it had been sitting on the table for hours). They charged us $188.00 for two adults and one 7 years old. I expected a minimum of omelette and waffles made to order. The coffee was served at room temperature and they put ice in my son's chocolate milk and we could not get a server to get it fixed. I tried to get ahold of someone in charge and she/he never showed up. This was the worse brunch I have ever been. I was hoping that I had spoken to someone while we were there but I was not granted that opportunity.

If this was our first Wine Pairing dinner at the WigWam we would not go back. The dinner was outside on a very windy and cold evening. Our table was next to the musician and he was very loud. Could not hear the chef or Representative speaking about the meal pairing and the wine.

The format and the setting were wonderful! We would definitely go again, but there is no preview of the menu and while we are pretty open to trying different things, the menu was just not good. The food looked beautiful, but did not taste wonderful. The most attractive item was the hamachi appetizer, but it was screaming for seasoning!! The raw beef tartar was pretty unappetizing. It looked like corned beef hash....not to mention, I dont eat raw beef. The lamb stew was nice (even though I dont eat lamb, lol) and the final item was bison, which also desperately needed salt. It was a bit strange to have so many red meats. They were more than generous with the wine pours and the wait staff was exceptional At $255 (for 2) we did expect a little more food. All four items were very small "small plates".

Overall experience was good. Was not sure how the buffet would function with the Covid restrictions but they pulled it off nicely. The food itself was excellent. It appeared the wait staff was a bit confused. After taking our initial drink order the original waitress did not acknowledge our table. She walked by several times and never asked if we would like our drinks refilled. Finally flagged her down and she had another waitress fill our drinks. Later she came by after we were finished and asked if we wanted a basket of bread. She did leave a desert menu but never came back to take the order. A different waitress finally came by and asked if we wanted to order desert. She promptly brought the deserts and told us we could take home the mini assortment if we wanted too. She never returned to bring a to go container. We ended up flagging down the original waitress to get a container. We observed several tables around us where the parties had arrived after us, got served promptly and were already leaving. We were only a party of two and should have not taken that much time. It is our belief that the table was not assigned to any particular staff. It was a little frustrating but overall dinner was good.

What food there was was ok, nothing special, one might expect more options at $70 a plate though and Ive been to resorts in Phoenix that did much better for a similar price on Thanksgiving. The meal was held in a large room with high ceiling and only paintings along one wall , scant on decorations and short of capturing a Fall/Thanksgiving vibe- felt like a venue normally used for conventions, easy to imagine a stage with speakers /lecturers and lots of chairs in a row for the audience. In other words, the ambiance sucked. The service was fine, no complaints there.

We couldn’t believe how horrendous our young boy waiter was. After paying $200+ drinks for 3 people, it’s unacceptable not to have the best and most experienced wait staff working the event. Luckily a young man of Hispanic decent tried to make up for some of the mistakes of the other guy, but overall the experience was definitely a disappointment. The food was okay but not working going back for and I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Went a few years ago and was great. Not so great this year, much less choices, turkey wasn't warm, sweet potatoes fair, stuffing fair, deserts downright sad as you could easily tell they were all store bought, low quality, rolls not very fresh, not even hot. When you pay $80 per meal, with tip built in and taxes, sorry but I expect a fantastic meal. Far from fantastic. Don't think I will go back anytime soon.
