If this was our first Wine Pairing dinner at the WigWam we would not go back. The dinner was outside on a very windy and cold evening. Our table was next to the musician and he was very loud. Could not hear the chef or Representative speaking about the meal pairing and the wine.
Loved everything about this night. Thank you!
Very nice evening. If planning to be outside, it would be good to be advised ahead of time so guests can have proper attire (i.e., coats).
The format and the setting were wonderful! We would definitely go again, but there is no preview of the menu and while we are pretty open to trying different things, the menu was just not good. The food looked beautiful, but did not taste wonderful. The most attractive item was the hamachi appetizer, but it was screaming for seasoning!! The raw beef tartar was pretty unappetizing. It looked like corned beef hash....not to mention, I dont eat raw beef. The lamb stew was nice (even though I dont eat lamb, lol) and the final item was bison, which also desperately needed salt. It was a bit strange to have so many red meats. They were more than generous with the wine pours and the wait staff was exceptional At $255 (for 2) we did expect a little more food. All four items were very small "small plates".
Kudos to the Executive Chef. She did an excellent job
We were all pretty disappointed with the quality of the food. I have never ben there before, and don't believe I would choose that again
Christmas dinner. Very well done with full service and ample social distancing.
Overall experience was good. Was not sure how the buffet would function with the Covid restrictions but they pulled it off nicely. The food itself was excellent. It appeared the wait staff was a bit confused. After taking our initial drink order the original waitress did not acknowledge our table. She walked by several times and never asked if we would like our drinks refilled. Finally flagged her down and she had another waitress fill our drinks. Later she came by after we were finished and asked if we wanted a basket of bread. She did leave a desert menu but never came back to take the order. A different waitress finally came by and asked if we wanted to order desert. She promptly brought the deserts and told us we could take home the mini assortment if we wanted too. She never returned to bring a to go container. We ended up flagging down the original waitress to get a container. We observed several tables around us where the parties had arrived after us, got served promptly and were already leaving. We were only a party of two and should have not taken that much time. It is our belief that the table was not assigned to any particular staff. It was a little frustrating but overall dinner was good.
Everything was great
I loved all the veggies and soup. The turkey and ham were good. Getting rare to medium rare prime rib was next to impossible. That was a real disappointment.
Food was cold, bland and soggy. Service was okay. Did not realize this event was held within a ballroom (ambiance was not welcoming or festive). Definitely not worth the high price!
This was better than expected. The food was great. I like the variety of options. Especially that dessert was included. My only note is that it was overpriced for kids.
What food there was was ok, nothing special, one might expect more options at $70 a plate though and Ive been to resorts in Phoenix that did much better for a similar price on Thanksgiving. The meal was held in a large room with high ceiling and only paintings along one wall , scant on decorations and short of capturing a Fall/Thanksgiving vibe- felt like a venue normally used for conventions, easy to imagine a stage with speakers /lecturers and lots of chairs in a row for the audience. In other words, the ambiance sucked. The service was fine, no complaints there.
Great food will go next year
We couldn’t believe how horrendous our young boy waiter was. After paying $200+ drinks for 3 people, it’s unacceptable not to have the best and most experienced wait staff working the event. Luckily a young man of Hispanic decent tried to make up for some of the mistakes of the other guy, but overall the experience was definitely a disappointment. The food was okay but not working going back for and I won’t recommend this place to anyone.
Went a few years ago and was great. Not so great this year, much less choices, turkey wasn't warm, sweet potatoes fair, stuffing fair, deserts downright sad as you could easily tell they were all store bought, low quality, rolls not very fresh, not even hot. When you pay $80 per meal, with tip built in and taxes, sorry but I expect a fantastic meal. Far from fantastic. Don't think I will go back anytime soon.
The food and ambience was excellent, but at $70 per person for buffet, the price was to high.
Thanksgiving served buffet
We were so excited for this buffet but were so disappointed. The menu online was completely different from the actual buffet. Our service was the worst I’ve ever had and the food was greasy. I would definitely not recommend this or go back
Another awesome wine dinner! Ambience, food, wine and service outstanding! Kudos to Ari from Orin Swift! Just love the Wigwam!!
Outstanding ambiance, service, food! The whole package!
Wine event
Great food. Chef Adam put on a great show with outstanding food and wine pairing. Our favorite was the halibut.
What an awesome event! Food, service, wine, ambiance was beyond expectations! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
