The Wickson Social is located at 5 St Joseph Street within the timeless gothic warehouse designed by Frank Wickson in the historical Cloverhill district of Toronto. Steps away from the University of Toronto, The Wickson Social was designed to offer a convivial gathering place to enjoy the very best Ontario Craft beers, Cocktails and wines from around the world. We take great pride in our kitchen who work hard to produce a creative made from scratch menu utilizing the very best products on in the market place.

We are open Tuesday thru Sunday for lunch, dinner and Brunch at the weekends . We take reservations but you do not need to make a booking to join us; whether seated at the bar, in the Nest, on comfortable banquettes, or at a table.

The Wickson Social is also the sister restaurant of The Oxley Public House which is located in Yorkville.

Been there several times. Generally always good. This time only, the meal could have been better. I ordered a braised beef which was tough instead of falling apart tender.

We picked a very quiet day (Tuesday lunchtime) so the ambience was a little lacking - no fault of the venue, just timing. Fantastic British style proper gastro pub. Great food, good service.

Experience was good overall. We were there for brunch. One thing I thought I would mention was that if coffee is not bottomless it should be mentioned. (Most brunch/breakfast menus offer this)

Food and service was great. Would definitely eat here again. Two people, apps and mains with one glass of vino for $120 including tip (20%). We dined in the back portion of the restaurant and it was nice and quiet. The front part didn’t seem too bad, but it was definitely noisier.

Love this spot! I've been a few times and it's definitely one of my favourite spots in Toronto. The food is great, the decor of the restaurant is awesome and it's always a good time at a reasonable price for the quality of the food, the restaurant's location and the decor/ambiance. Only thing that could have been a little bit better was the service - it took while for the waiter to come see us, he didn't come to ask us if our meals were good/if we needed anything else, and it took a little while for us to receive the bill after he asked for it. But it was fairly easy to see that the staff was in a rush and looked understaffed for the amount of customers inside the restaurant, so it was understandable.

We met friends for dinner before the theatre and were on a tight timeline. The service was expert - friendly and relaxed in feel while crisp in timing, getting us to the show on time. We all appreciated the beer and wine recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food - from a great hand chopped burger to steamed PEI mussels. Our guests were thrilled to have been invited and we have already planned to return.

Food is incredible. Definitely a chefs touch. Server was very knowledgeable, this is a great place for a refined dining experience.
