The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. This includes a specialty cocktail menu with different seasonal ingredients along with a fresh mocktail menu. The Tavern offers brunch seven days a week with bottomless brunch cocktails and Sunday jazz brunch from 11am-2pm. On Friday & Saturday local musicians perform from 8-11pm. White Oak is located in Enchanted Forest Shopping Center in Ellicott City. Make sure to stop by & try the award-winning burger, draft beers and see what makes The Tavern unique. Cheers!

    They have small plates which we really enjoyed. The Tips and frites was big enough for 2 and was delicious!! My husband also enjoyed the carrot ginger soup

    Great local spot. Had a great burger and excellent spinach dip. Live music starting at 8:00 on Saturday made for a great night.

    6 of us for dinner on Friday night. Beef burgers are still excellent, black bean burger was ok. Pizza was ok, gluten free but crust was thinner than a cracker and not quite what expected. We were in at a tablein the back corner near windowsbut the noise level was louder than expected.

    Maria, Thank you for joining us for dinner service. I am glad the burgers were excellent. The black bean burger seems to be a big hit as well. The pizza is new to our spring menu. Most cauliflower crust pizzas are thin crust. Thank you for giving it a try. Friday and Saturday night are our two busiest nights so sometimes the volume can be a bit louder than usual.     The food was good and we were not rushed but it was very loud between the band and a table of other guests who had been there quite a while. They were shouting and making a lot of noise. Maybe taking advantage of the bottomless drinks.

    Loved the Jazz Brunch!! Our server was courteous and wonderful. Such a nice gesture to offer me a free dessert or appetizer my next trip since they were out of red peppers?!?!
