First visit here and was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was on a Saturday night. Very bizarre that they didn’t have any Bicardi! Staff were very friendly and the food was good!

Not impressed with the food. We ordered the Sunday roast. 40mins later it turned up. Wasn't the best,gravy was coloured water,spuds rock hard, veg under Cook. When asked how is your meal I had to complain. They said sorry we have a table of 11 in.???. Shame because it's a great pub.

Food - awesome. Absolutely faultless. Staff - amazing. Friendly and chatty and worth coming back to visit again. Atmosphere - calm (a weeknight) and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

We were a group of 4 friends meeting. The service was good, we had a nice table by the window and had a lovely evening. We all ordered different dishes and my friends thought the food was good overall. I ordered the Mushroom Risotto and I felt it was rather disappointing. It was presented nicely, good consistency and hot but overall the flavour was lacking tasting mainly of stock. It wasn’t at all creamy and needed the Parmesan cheese you usually add at the end. We all ordered Cheesecake for dessert which also was pretty tasteless which was a shame. Overall we had a nice evening and I would return but I think the food could be better.

Ideal place to meet up. Sundays seem rather noisy and busy but that’s a good thing for the restaurant. Food good and staff very friendly.

Have been here a few times before when it was under the old management and used to really enjoy it here. Unfortunately this time was not great. Dirty menus and lots of main courses not available. Took two hours just to have one course as took absolutely ages for the table to be cleared despite the restaurant not being very busy at all. Food was not very good, especially the lasagne which was really stodgy and lukewarm. No check back done on the food. Generally felt quite ignored. No ambience in the place like there used to be either. Toilets really gross, don’t think they had been checked on all day. Absolutely will not be returning there are far better places to spend hard earnt money.

Visit was ok. Food was reasonable, but it took 40 mins to serve 2 Sunday roasts which should be a lot quicker. Beer was cloudy and the wine served in a chipped glass. Simple things that should be noticed by staff.
