The White Hart is the home of London barbecue experts, #Ribstock2013 winners and Great British rib champion’s @BBQWhiskyBeer. The team have transformed the 16th Century country pub into a little slice of cosmopolitan life, without losing the pub’s true Surrey soul. Their unique style of modern barbecue is an eclectic affair with influences from Korean Gogigui, American Pits, Spanish plancha, Argentine Asado and the good old fashioned British grill. A fifty bottle strong selection of whisky and bourbon is constantly growing to offer a dram for both the keen amateur and the discerning palette alike. And so too the cocktail list, featuring timeless classics like Manhattans and a margaritas, modern classics with a twist such as a barrel aged Negroni and contemporary interpretations of classic such as a Monster Munch martini, The Modfather and a smoky bacon old fashioned.

New to the area and went to the White Hart. All I can say is that the food and service were absolutely spot for a pub aimed at foodies. Great beers and cocktails on offer too. Will return again soon.

The food is amazing. Meat has been smoked in their own smokehouse - very tender ribs. Amazing burger with short rib on top. The staff were very knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble. Even at 4 pm the dining room was buzzing. I cannot wait to come back to try the specials! What a truly magnificent to find a pub this good outside of London. Fab-u-lous !

Recently dined for business lunch and followed up by a dinner trip with my wife. On both occasions theropod was excellent and service attentive. Love the American style food in aSurrey pub.

Love it! It is a meat eaters heaven! I've been twice now, the meat is just stunning! I've had the beef rib both times and still dream about it. Sides are yummy too, particularly the sweet potatoe wedges. The other half had a burger the first time and enjoyed it, he opted for a beef rib last time and loved it too! Service is friendly and prompt in a laid back non pushy manner...suits us perfectly. We'll be back!!
