Good food reasonably priced well cooked and pleasantly served.
Great all round, food, service and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The service was exceptionally bad. One girl was rushed off her feet with 5/6 tables by herself. We waited 45 mins for a cocktail and we have to check 3 times- on the third time the staff started making it. We were sat in a corner away from any atmosphere and just forgot about. We still tipped and did not make a fuss however I would not recommend this place purely for it’s bad service.
Consistently good food, good service and atmosphere
A Last minute choice, and a good one.
Only 5 minutes from the airport (£7 taxi).
Good selection of local produce, cooked and presented well and served surprisingly quickly from ordering.
Add to that a decent bottle of wine at a sensible price
Who could ask for more?
Nice food and service was initially good but got progressively worse! Being charged £1 per chocolate (which we did not ask for) at the end of the meal was also a bit steep!
The open fire and good food was just what we were looking for after a morning spent outside and it didn't disappoint. The menu caters for vegetarians as well as meat eaters and both options were good value and portions large. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly
Had a good time great mushroom starter.
Main was burger very nice and tasty pudding was a mini dessert and hot drink which was just right to finish the meal off wast hungry or feeling blowted after.
Our sever was Mel who was very friendly and helpful when choosing the meal we liked me and my wife will go again.
Good quality food, good service and good company were all the ingredients for a great Sunday Lunch!
Food good , service lacking.
It was busy and staff seemed overworked and under trained.
Tables to close together in some areas, which resulted in staff constantly pushing into your back when serving other tables.
Really poor experience, 1 starter arrived when everyone had finished, dessert order forgotten about for 30 mins, wrong drinks orders, long waits in between courses. Apparently big night out the night before for the chefs was the reason they kept getting things wrong! Inexcusable! Dreadful dining experience. What's happened? Used to be really good here. Disappointed.
My fish cakes with asparagus was absolutely lovely, and my husband enjoyed the sea bass very much too.
Our waitress Mel(?) was excellent, efficient, friendly and attentive.
4 meals orderd 1meal stone cold finished 3 meals before last one deliverd
Don't go just yet ! Depressing refit, amateur staff, food just ok. Lots of pasta/pizza so could get anywhere. But if Versace meet village pub is your sort of decorative thing you will love it...
