TWP is a hidden gem and one of the best restaurants we’ve enjoyed near downtown Roswell. I suggest going during off hours to fully enjoy but a fantastic place for a date or business meal as the restaurant an get noisy (all concrete flooring).
It goes without saying that if you are a Bourbon / whiskey person this place is a must see. My wife enjoys non bourbon drinks and TWP bartender staff totally delivered.
Food was OFF THE CHAIN good and unique. Try the Tartine snack and the Red snapper main as fantastic recommendations.
Very nice place and really amazing list of whiskeys and bourbons. Food was good. There was a very noisy group near to us, but that's ok.
The restaurant does not have high chairs or anything for children. No apologies- was told it is the whiskey project and known for bourbon. Yes but you also serve food and are a restaurant so should have at least one booster seat. So it started off difficult with the child in booth with no way to contain a toddler. We asked for appetizers right away to occupy the child and was told that they cannot put in appetizer orders until the full meal order is put in because the kitchen is disorganized so they are trying to help the kitchen. Then it took a long time for our drinks to arrive. The food was ok- not as good as it was in the past. My son had the pork chop which was dry and severely undercooked. My other son and I ordered the filet and the sizing was completely disproportionate. Mine was large and his was very small compared to mine. Table next to us sent back the pork chop for being undercooked also. Then - because our waiter was dealing with food issues from next table we had to wait for the check. Knowing that we have a toddler that is not contained and getting fussy - I would have thought the server would bring our check sooner. Overall a poor experience and will probably not return. The last few times have been disappointing because the first few were exceptional. But a restaurant that doesn’t cater to families - teaching children how to behave in a restaurant is important and I don’t want to stay at home just because we have a child with us - is not one that I would recommend to my friends or family.
Our server was terrific !
Osso bucco ordered by several of guests had to be returned to kitchen as it was cold and even them never came out right
Sat on the patio which was great until we had a horrific rainstorm and the patio leaked.
My fish was prepared well, but I’m guessing it sat under the lights for a bit long waiting for the other 3 entrees to be ready. Friends who ordered the filet and pork chop seemed to enjoy their more than the snapper ot the duck. Good not great though we enjoyed being out. Ordinarily, the outdoor patio would be fine.
Someone needs to sit the bar staff down with the chefs and remind the cooking staff just what the beverage theme of the restaurant is...
The food was salty, lacking in flavor, heavy, and did not pair well with the whiskey or scotch list at all.
I ordered the pork chop, thinking, it’d be some delicious thing possibly crusted, with some sort of appley glaze, and I got two meat slabs that were smothered in a heavy brown gravy, a pile of steame? Sauteeed enoki mushrooms, collard greens cooked to green mush, and a completely (literally- I cannot remember) the wholly unmemorable mound of mashed potato purée..
We went for brunch, and it was wonderful! Great service and the cocktails and food were phenomenal. We will definitely be back!
Hostess forgot us even though lots of tables were empty. Took forever for waitress to notice us. Food was so so.
Food was very delicious but I wish our entrees were warmer.
Live in Roswell and this is my third time visiting the Whiskey Project. Food was great, server was awesome. Issues: Hostess refused to seat us and seated other people ahead of us even though we had the same reservation time. She said that she "did not want to overwhelm the servers by seating multiple tables at a time". Then why have this reservation time open? The manager finally came up and handled the situation after we stood outside for 15 minutes watching everyone who came after us get seated.
Other issue: we were seated in cute chairs with another couple 2 feet from us. No six foot rule here...
Great service and food but FABULOUS drinks. And the bourbon menu was fun to look at. We ended up trying a pricey one and loved it.
This was my third time dining at TWP and it did not disappoint. The service and food was awesome.
Great addition to the downtown Roswell area! They have a great selection of bourbon but don’t expect this to be a budget-friendly date. Awesome for a fun splurge!
We enjoyed our meal on the patio. The drinks and food were excellent.
We had such a great time!!! Everything was great!! Thank you for accommodating us being late and adding another person! We will be back!!!
Excellent whiskey cocktails to start (unique).
Excellent wait staff
Fun starters and great main
Surprise Champaign provided to celebrate birthday
Recommend TWP to all my friends
Always love this place!
Awesome brunch experience. Food was amazing and so were the cocktails. We enjoyed sitting on the porch because the sun was nice and there was a gentle breeze. Our server was phenomenal. Cannot wait to go back
Decent food. The worst service we’ve ever had. A joke.
If you like whiskey, you’ll be in heaven. Food is amazing too.
Totally loved this place! Amazing bartender whipped us up some great cocktails. Cool ambiance inside & out. Looking forward to returning!
Whiskey lovers lunch spot.
Great service, delicious food, definitely recommend!
This was our first visit to a restaurant since pre-COVID and they did not disappoint! Great drinks, great food, great service. What’s not to love?
Great Easter menu. Food and service was great as always.
We love Whiskey Project for dinner but brunch just wasn’t as good of an experience. 3 meals came out wrong, burger tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. We will be back for dinner for sure but probably not for brunch.
This was our first time to TWP. Reservations were made with the OpenTable app. Our table was ready when we arrived a few minutes early. The host was very courteous and efficient. We were greeted at our table quickly by Kennedy who answered a few questions regarding the drink menu. Kennedy and MK worked together to take our order and take care of us throughout the meal. The staff works together well to provide great service. The bartender delivered one round of our drinks, and our meal was brought out by another team member. But both MK and Kennedy stopped to check on us and ensure everything was perfect. We had a wonderful meal, fantastic service, and a great experience. We will definitely be back!
We visited from Chicago with some relatives. Our waiter was kinda cold. We inquired about several drinks (like what kind of Whiskey was in a drink). What is this one made with? His response was “Whiskey”; no more information was offered to educate me on the drink. Unless I pulled with questions from my basic knowledge about different kinds of Whiskey, he wasn’t offering much more. Other parties ordered the bottomless mimosas. They were reminded that EVERYONE had to order out that was going to be drinking it.... NO DUH GENIUS! That was insulting. Overall the food was great and loved the interior decor. Refused to let one guy ruin our experience.
We have enjoyed TWP in the past but our most recent evening with company from out of town was very disappointing. The service was fair, the food was poor (undercooked/nearly raw bone-in pork chop, sent back to the kitchen twice), the other dishes (except for the salmon) were fair at best. They were out of stock at 6:30pm on a Saturday with their usual charcuterie board which was very disappointing as well. We will not be back for some time. Easter Sunday should not throw off Saturday nights meal by so much.
Out of too many menu items. Food was mediocre quality and not prepared appropriately. Drinks were nice. Service was reasonable.
My husband I and would live here if we could. Everyone we have brought to this restaurant has been mad at us for not bringing them sooner.
The food, cocktails and amazing bourbon pecan pie never disappoint!
The people are very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating!! Try EVERYTHING!
Food is amazing. Love the atmosphere.
This was our first visit. We usually dine on the Westside off Howell Mill. The Whiskey Project is worth the drive! They are very serious about the quality of their cocktails. Largest bourbon selection I have ever seen. Manhattans stored in barrels. Waiter Andre' was attentive, and extremely knowledgeable.
You HAVE to try the Kalettes, extremely unique treatment of kale and Brussel sprouts with pork cheek.... just say "yes". Maybe the best Deviled Eggs ever. We will work our way into the dinner menu next visit, which will be soon.
I have been here a few times. The food is excellent and the cocktails are fantastic. This time, my scallops were seared to the point of being overdone on one side. They replaced the meal but by the time the dish came back out, my guest was done eating. The new scallops were perfect. Overall, a misstep that can happen. I was a little disappointed that I was not offered a reduction on the check because of this. I thought that was common practice in this type of situation. I would still go back in a heartbeat, though. This is a gem of a place and would love to have it around for a long time.
An enjoyable experience. Will definitely be visiting again.
Perfect! Always Perfect!
Great! We would go back!
Wonderful evening with friends! Great service and fabulous food! A fun night out! We will be back!!!
