The food was really good and service very helpful. Chairs aren't really made for larger people but still comfortable. I would recommend that for the "boat" flatbread menu item, you add pepper flakes on the menu. Not everyone can eat pepper, even if they're not allergic. I was really excited to try this dish but disappointed that I couldn't get it without the pepper flakes since it was too hot for me.

Overall it was okay. We wanted to take our time and enjoy the night but were told we could not put appetizers in first - we would have to put in our entire order. That was just very uninviting and felt rushed. Our apps came out immediately and then our main course way too soon following. Our server was very attentive but it felt like we were being rushed.

My husband and I have specific dietary requirements and so I am always careful to review menus before I book places. The brunch menu had a dish that looked perfect but when I was given the menu in the restaurant it was different. I was told the one online was the winter menu and they had no idea why the website was showing the wrong menu so late into summer (September!). I asked if I could have something close to the item from the brunch menu that was online but was told no. I was left with a pretty dissatisfying brunch.

Been here several times and the food service and atmosphere is always spot on. Last night our server left I think half way through our meal. Had to go to the bar and get drinks myself also asked for drinks and got lost in the shuffle. Manager got involved and sorted everything Place is still 5 star place and will for sure go back

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant ! The food is always delicious and consistent. The manager Charlie is amazing. He knows true customer service and always has a smile on his face. The whole team is outstanding as well. Very attentive and they always remember you. My personal favorite is Jay. When it’s nice out they have outside seating on the the canal which is just another plus. HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

Everything was excellent except the entertainment. It was so loud that we could not hear the other couple. We moved to the very back area. The entertainment needs to take it down a few notches .

We had a vey good experience at The Wheel. We ordered a Caesar salad and two funghi pizzas and they were great. We also had one craft beer and two Rose Prosecco’s and they were wonderful. The funghi pizza is great and The Wheel is my favorite place in Stamford for pizza.

This was the absolute perfect choice to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday… Everyone was so happy the vibe was amazing and Charlie made sure that every detail was top star! We will certainly be back again as well all of our guests!

Beautiful setting right on the harbor. The food was excellent, the service was pretty quick, there was live music, and the kids loved the ice cream sundaes! My only critique is the dirty martini I had was just okay.

The menu has a great variety, and everything we ordered was delicious! The tables are spaced out so it doesn't feel at all crowded and it is not noisy. The decor is modern and tasteful. The service was terrific. We will definitely be back!

I had a dinner with 7 friends here. I love the ambiance here and the cocktails are decent. In my recent visit, some of the the food was stale (rice cake, calamari) and the service was horrible even when there were not many people in the restaurant. The manager did offer free desserts for the delay, but the overall experience was still not worth the value. This is a great place in the neighborhood, hope they fix the food and the service.

The Wheel is my hands-down favorite restaurant in Stamford. Charlie and team totally deliver a fantastic experience. Food is great! Favorites appetizers include the tuna tartar and berrata. Favorite dinner items include pizzas, salmon, chopped salad, Korean short rib, and the brick chicken. The service is fantastic and the team goes above and beyond to deliver a great dining experience. Give Charlie latitude to recommend a wine, and you won't be disappointed. Lastly, ambience is wonderful...beautiful restaurant with a really nice vibe. Highly recommended! Don't miss this place! Though it wasn't the purpose of this visit, I also love the Sunday jazz brunch that never fails to impress. Dying to try the French toast, though my waistline recommends otherwise.

Thank you to the staff at The Wheel for helping us celebrate our daughters sweet 16s! The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. Mains came before starters. After 45 minutes. Waiter attitude was - well I’ll still you the starters. Granted they discounted but the attitude was very non client service; lot of finger pointing and non accountability. Lights were bright . Noisy. Seems to have lost its touch a bit

We were there for our reservation at 7:30, were seated at a table. We asked to be changed to a booth, but the waiter was evidently not told about us, so we did not order until 8:00. Our appetizers came & were delicious. Then we waited & waited. At 9:00 we asked where our entrees were & the waiter found that either they were given to someone else, or were just forgotten. While we were waiting, a gentleman (I assume a manager) came up to re-tell us it was being prepared (without apologizing) and said that at least we got our appetizers. At least our waiter apologized (even though it was not His mistake that caused the problem).

Had the crab avocado toast. Crab was not fresh and toast was very dense and hard to cut . Our server seemed to be “ upset “ with some of our requests . Loved the ambience but everything else was off .

We love the ambience at the Wheel! Unfortunately, we were mostly forgotten by our server. The food was delicious and came in a timely manner. The prices for the restaurant would be justifiable if the service were on par with the food. Our server barely checked in on us, and when we did need something, she would leave us hanging (requested salt and a drink at different times which never came). Once we requested the check, it took about 15 minutes before we saw our server again. Disappointing experience for a place that has great food, nice decor, and views of the water.

The Wheel is like dining in Los Angeles or Sant Monica , not Stamford. A different vibe plus a great outdoor waterfront scene. The menu is eclectic and the food excellent. Try the eggplant and swordfish dips. They need to work on their French fires--not nearly crispy enough.

A loud, echoey, hall for families and groups... a few couples. Very busy on a Friday night. The waiters were rushed but pleasant. I fixed our wobbly table myself and the walk along the water after dinner was very nice. Parking garage next door was open for free parking. It would be nice, when designing these places, if they used sound proofing, warm materials, not tile, cement. This cavernous design lends to a very echoey, din of noise that is not cozy or easy to hear each other. We had a lovely experience, nonetheless.

This was our first time there, absolutely loved the atmosphere- the live music, the view The food was delicious & beautifully presented. We didn’t wait long at all for our entrees.
