This award-winning restaurant overlooks the village of Combe Hay which is nestled at the southern tip of the Cotswalds, and was recently voted as one of The Times top 20 villages to live in. It goes without saying the food at The Wheatsheaf is spectacular. Head Chef Lee Evan has earned a stellar reputation for his modern British cooking, and signature dishes include the lasagne of Cornish crab, ginger and lemongrass foam; and the loin of venison served with apple and truffle risotto.

Went to the Wheatsheaf for a lunch for my husbands 40th birthday. All our friends thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere and it was a great afternoon of celebration.

An absolute gem, ate here earlier in the week with family and everyone loved their meal! We had steak, sea bass and a burger and can’t fault any of the meals! Excellent pub, service ambience and of course dogs! Can’t wait to return!
