   Atmosphere was very nice and food was good too. They also had a nice play area for the kids.

   The waitress took our drink order, delivered the drinks and started working behind the bar. After trying to get her attention for a while, we decided to go to the bar, pay for the drinks and leave. The restaurant was so loud. Only one toilet was in working condition in the ladies bathroom and there were several ladies in line at 6:30 pm.

   Not much went right. Ordered a bottle of wine & it took about 20 minutes for them to find a bottle. In their defense they had some special events they were hosting. The spinach dip isn’t great. Lastly they brought my wife’s Cesar salad with no dressing. Nothing major - just some kind of snag around every corner.

   This was a great place to spend my birthday dinner! The fish and chips were amazing - I don’t love seafood but the cod was incredible. They also had great drinks and surprised me with a yummy birthday cake.

   We had a very mediocre experience. It started off really well. We were seated a few minutes before our reservation time. The waitress was bubbly and nice. Then we found out the bar was “backed up” and we were finished with our appetizers before the cocktails arrived. The martini was warm and the glass sweating so I can only assume it sat at the bar waiting on the waitress to pick it up and deliver to the table. The calamari was ok. The chargrilled oysters were ok. Neither were great or terrible. There was a wedding reception just outside the main dining room that had a DJ and we all know DJs don’t hold back on the volume of their music. The wedding party seemed to be having a great time and that was enjoyable to watch through the glass doors and windows that divided their party from the dining room. The wedding reception ended and we still didn’t have food. A total of 40 minutes went by. Look, we get having a new restaurant and being busy. What we don’t understand is poor communication. We flagged the manager down and asked her to check on our food but the food came out before she got away from the table. Well, most of it did, one dish didn’t come out for another 3 minutes. Now here’s my complaint: the seafood boil was cooked great but once it was plated, it was covered heavily with more spice and seasoning; this was the same with the fries and this made it too salty and unenjoyable. The Heinz ketchup bottle on the table tasted like it had been refilled with an offbrand ketchup, or either the seasoning on the fries changed the flavor of the ketchup. We watched the manager interact with the tables around up, we listened to her communicate with the staff, and we’ve concluded that she is the problem. She isn’t leading a team toward greatness. She’s drowning and hasn’t trained her staff to be effective versions of themselves. If we are ever back in the area, we would like to give this restaurant another shot because we liked the menu and think there’s potential.

   First they ran out of ice after our first drink. Our Wagyu Steaks came out super salty like salt was poured all over the steaks. They went to remake our order, the server came back and said that a couple more tables said the same thing. When our order came back it was just as salty as the previous steaks. The other tables that order these steaks sent theirs back twice as well. They were sitting diagonally from us. No manager came to our table, they were nonchalant, and showed no concern. We got our ticket and paid for my daughter’s meal along with the 3 drinks we had and our appetizer. We noticed people that came in later had ice and when we walked past the kitchen ice was on the floor, we were shocked, but they said they ran out because of the humidity. They didn’t try to make things right at all. Very disappointing. Worst experience I’ve had from a restaurant and it’s not even close.

   The waiter was awesome. I don’t remember his name, but he was great. He was very personable. He kept conversations, light and fun.

   It’s the sad tale of a new restaurant not having it all together. The right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing and in the end, the customer is the one who suffers. We left after an appetizer. One never gets a second chance at a first impression…Customer service says a lot…It starts at the top!!!

    The food was just okay. Nothing special. Shrimp on salad looked like rock shrimp instead of gulf shrimp. No taste at all. Grouper tasted blah. Broccolini was over cooked. Waiter was attentive.
