    My first visit was outstanding. Second one, not so much. I need to have another good experience before I recommend to my friends. Restaurant is relaxing and has high end feel.

    At first glance prices were higher than expected, but when the food came out the portion size showed the value. The food was great. Love the ambiance and view from the back porch. Kills the predecessor Whiskey Joe’s!! I am local and will definitely be coming back!

    The Wharf Fish & Oyster Co. promises fresh Gulf flavors and waterfront views, but the reality fell short. Food was mediocre overall. We ordered a variety of items—1/2 dozen raw oysters, seafood chowder, grouper, seafood boil, and wagyu steak; the chowder was the best dish but arrived lukewarm. Service started on a positive note with a kind and welcoming hostess. However, table service quickly declined. Multiple drink orders were incorrect, and servers ignored unbussed tables despite what looked like ample staff for the number of patrons. Contributing to an overall lackluster atmosphere. Walking into a nearly empty restaurant at 7 PM in a high-tourist area, while the spot next door had a line outside, should have been a warning. Unfortunately, it proved accurate.

    When arriving the hostess seemed confused on where to sit us. Stood and waited about 5-10mins without anyone saying what was going on. When entering the women’s bathroom the ceiling was leaking some sort of water. But we understand things happen. It felt like there was minimum AC in the building. Ordering a glass of wine and a sweet tea took over 15 mins to get. Never asked about any food allergies. The waiter was kind and friendly- he helped us with deciding on an appetizer. When ordering our meals they were out of both of our picks. So defaulting to a less quality cut steak- that was ordered medium. Comes out well done. Take over 20 mins for the order to be remade correctly. Another 15-20mins for the second glass of wine to make its way to the table. My husbands sea food boil was at best like warm when it arrived. Finally my meal comes out as the rest of the party was already done and ready to leave the table. We were offered a “free brownie” that took another 20mins to only ask if it was coming for the manager to say “the kitchen must have fallen asleep back there” and then took another 10 mins to make. All of this mind you is with my sr mother and out 5 year old daughter. At this time the restaurant is clearly experiencing some sort of AC issue and we are sweaty, hot and ready to go. While making a quick trip into the women bathroom- while in the stall a male and a female come in to discuss the leak- NEVER announcing they were coming in- I said “someone’s in here” and they both left without saying a word. They tried to make it look like we received a $60 on out bill in fact the only thing we got was a $0 dessert. Everything else was removed and put back on. We come to town a few times a year and I know we will never come back. Our start to finish was 2 hours and 10 mins. For something that should have been about an hour.

    The food was phenomenal. Zero wait thanks to open table reservation made like 20 minutes before hand. Service was excellent aside from our waitress went MIA for about 35 minutes and they tried bringing out our birthday dessert before we got our food. We were there an hour before entrees were served. But we did have great drinks and appetizers. Overall excellent and we WILL be back.

    Food was great. We sat inside a party of 8 women. Pretty loud could only hear 1/2 of the table.

    Phenomenal customer service! We are still here finishing our meal and I am already writing this. My husband got the seafood boil and I got the bacon burger. Both were huge portions and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean. We had three different people check on us and asked how our food was. We will definitely be coming back we want to try everything on the menu now. Do yourself a favor and come here they will not disappoint.

    The view, service and food are outstanding! We had a large party and the staff had called to confirm the reservation and asked if we would prefer inside or outside - both would have been a great pick - but we chose inside and still had a great view! The service was prompt and efficient and our food came out fast and hot! Will definitely be back there often. Chef Kara even had a quick sec to stop by and say hi and she was really busy!
