A traditional pub and restaurant in the beautiful, historic spa town of Bridge of Allan. Established in 1842, the Westerton Arms has been, and still is an integral part of the Bridge of Allan community.

Open daily from 9am until 10pm, we serve exceptional quality, locally sourced food.

In our bar we have a wide range of spirits, malt whisky and an extensive range of gins. We also serve a range of locally brewed beers and ales, as well as mainstream brands, namely, Guinness, Belhaven Best and Birra Moretti
to name but a few.

We have wood burning stoves for chilly days and beer gardens front and rear of the building for those sunny days. There is also customer car parking to the rear.

Four legged friends are welcome in the bar area

We enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast dinner, one of us choosing chicken, the other, sirloin. The portions were very generous, including accompanying vegetables and potatoes. Excellent meal with good service.

We decided to visit for breakfast, and I'm glad we did. I particularly enjoyed the 'Westy Special', and our children were delighted with their pancake dishes. Presentation of the food was excellent, and the service was great. We were made to feel very welcome.

We came for a father's day lunch and what an absolute treat. The portions were very generous and our dishes were faultless. I had the Sri Lankan curry which is possibly the best curry I have ever had. Beautiful flavours with a kick of heat. Dad had the sirloin steak and he was very pleased with it. We had food envy though as every meal coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We will definitely be back. Remember this place has a car park at the back which is half the battle for you in the lovely busy high street.

Was really dissatisfied we waited 40 mins for our meal to arrive and when it did the daulphinoise potatoes were as dry as could be sauce non existent as was the shin of beef husbands steak not much better

Unfortunately, a somewhat disappointing lunch. I ordered steak pie, a dish which I have often enjoyed at the Westerton. On this occasion, the steak filling had been significantly oversalted, so as to be barely palatable. Thankfully, the linguini and prawns selected by my friend was excellent. Otherwise, the service was to the usual high standard.

We had mussels, hummus and Cullen skink for starters and it was very tasty but starters were very big and no break between mains, so we were far to full to eat it all. Fish and chips and burger was good but the beef roast was dry and gravy tastes. We will be back again but will not need a starter and a main, too much food to manage.
