   We booked through open tables and they don’t even serve food !

   On arrival we were told we didn’t have a booking and there was 11 of us but we had an email confirmation. The young guy working the bar was alone to serve the whole pub. The management had not got some of the items on the computer making it very difficult for him, one half of the cocktail shakers were missing so couldn’t have cocktails. Very busy night and he coped really well considering the crowd. The food was really good though.

   I booked a table for indoor dining for 6 ppl. Upon arrival was told our table was outside and it was raining. 1 barrel with no seats around it. Not really acceptable as I had booked this 2 weeks in advance wanting to watch this stage of the euros. It Seems pointless booking for any popular sports event as I was told regulars get preference. I don’t disagree with looking after regulars but don’t have the tables available to book if that’s the case. I Won’t book for any sports in the future which is a shame as I have done for many years previously and it’s always been very good.

   Excellent lunchtime menu - meal & a drink for £12. Good choice of both meals and drink. Very friendly bar staff. Delicious food. Looking forward to our next visit.

   Arrived and even though open table had confirmed the booking and Id been emailed twice to say confirmed they didny have our booking, and didnt seem keen to seat us somewhere suitable. We were told to only order from one menu as lunch wasnt offered. And from that menu many other items were not available. But we then saw other tables being brought food we were told they didnt have. We used to frequently visit this pub, and this is the first time back... we werent made welcome and overall we decided we wouldn't come back.

   I booked a table to watch the rugby and the staff "upgraded" my table to a better position due to a cancellation. Absolutely thrilled as it was the best table in the house. Had a great afternoon. Couldn't fault the place in any way.

   This was our Pub of choice during our 5-week stay in Rickmansworth. It’s spacious and modern, the bar staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of on-tap beer choices and the food is better than good! Great place for a leisurely Sunday Roast meal or a quick pint when passing by. Loved it!

   Coming up to Xmas should have had more staff on . Long wait at bar and for food . Food nice and hot when arrived and lady serving us very nice and apologetic . Went to order deserts and told kitchen was closed so not a good first time visit for us . But good value for money
