I thought the meal was too overpriced and the variety of food was limited to red meat, eggs and fish. Last year, you had more of a selection. I will not return next year.
We love going to the West End, especially when there is live music. However, our waiter was a little offputting and difficult to get a hold of. We will make sure to sit in a different section next time.
The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a very loud and boisterous table. Great restaurant
We had a fantastic time at this vibrant vivacious venue. The theme was Kentucky Derby and attendees came for the sport and good time. What fun. Good food. Nice bar. Priced out of my league except for very occasion.
We have visited West End many times and have been generally pleased . However our last 2 visits were quite disappointing. The menu has shrunk with few entree options; several favorites are gone as well. Our recent visit was the line in the sand. Not only were we never served our salads even though we were practically the only ones in the restaurant, when my partner declined a second cocktail as a comp, she was not offered an alternative. Overall a sad experience and our last visit.
The ambiance is so pleasing and relaxing. The interior is gorgeous, such a positive change from the older "stuffy" Paddock. The jazz music was delighful. The brunch was delicious, I especially loved the parmesan risotto an DC tasted brussel sprouts, while my mom loved the eggs Benedict and quiche! Also offered many other delicious sweet and savory offerings. The Bloody Mary is to die for!!!!! Service excellent!!!
$35pp Easter Buffet, doesn’t even a cup of coffee or glass of juice...
had 2:45 reservation
many chafing dishes were completely empty
prime rib too raw to eat, ham cold
waffle station was a mess without someone to make them for you
3 strawberries left in a bowl, blueberries all over the buffet
2 pieces of french toast left
don’t ruin your Holiday Brunch by choosing this place
My family decided to change up our normal Easter dinner this year because of kids being away at college and not coming home. Your Easter Brunch was amazing!
Fabulous food,awesome service !
Loved the Jazz music !
Told friends and they can not wait to join us next year !
My husband and I will be back for Sunday Jazz brunch !
Wonderful food with quiet jazz in the background! Will return!
Delicious good. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Diverse menu and super jazz trio. Wonderful experience!
Our first time to the West End. They just introduced their Spring menu, delicious food. They even had live music...bonus!
Food was excellent! Would have rated higher on value except the prices were a bit steep. Other than that, super evening!!
The service was not satisfactory. The restaurant was hosting a fundraiser for a non-profit on the same evening that many of the diners was attending the symphony. The restaurant was not sufficiently staffed for both. Drink orders took more than a half hour to arrive at the table and food over an hour. Our server knew we were attending the symphony, but, by the timeout food arrived, we had less than 15 minutes to eat and pay before we had to leave. Very expensive for a less than enjoyable and relaxing meal.
We’ve been twice, once right after opening (not impressive), and tried again after hearing good reports from friends. Much better this time!
Overall a solid 4 star. Plenty of choices, and with vegan options. Chef is willing to modify dishes for allergies. Nice decor, and quieter than many comparable places. We will return.
Excellent bar cocktails and dinner.
The waiter didn't honor are Groupon and charging $15 per glass of wine for which I can purchase locally for $20 a bottle was absurd. Nice place and food but way over priced for that restaurant.
Bloody Mary was very good - really enjoyed the vocalist and instrumental combo - since it was a serve yourself buffet the ratings for service are moot. There was a wide variety of brunch items - my wife enjoyed her omelet and I enjoyed my cut of prime rib although I could not see horseradish sauce available. Would definitely go back,
We had reservations and when walking in another couple entered behind us. Their were two greeters at the desk and one after greeting us, totally blew us off as she knew the couple behind us, very rude! The second woman seated us. It took over 5 minutes for a waitress came to take our drink order, water. The food was very good, but the service was not great. The waitress never came back once the food was delivered, no bread on the table, never asked if we wanted another drink or coffee.
We enjoyed the quality and taste of the food but the service needs some working on. I would give this restaurant another try but the lack of service was a big turn off.
The dining room was very cold and my father was quite uncomfortable. Asked for hot coffee and it was cold. Manager got another cup which was hot. There was only one server for the entire dining room. Food was O.K.
Love this restaurant! Food is always great. Love the decor and ambiance. Just a few minor complaints on this visit. The service was exceptionally slow with no apologies from server. Also my husband didn’t realize until well into his meal that it was not prepared as described. He still thoroughly enjoyed it but we feel the server should have alerted us to the change. These issues wouldn’t stop us from going back however.
I didn’t find the seating very comfort. One member of the party faced a wall of books and the fables had no privacy.
The West End offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch favorites, including eggs benedict and prime rib, if you often have prime rib for lunch
As always, great meal!
The service and food at The West End is great. The restaurant is very attractive and fun.
Very pricy, but nice ambiance- good for special events. Food was tasty. Steaks did not meet expectations for $. Starters were all good. Definitely worth another try when more local fare is abailable.
Delightful experience, very professional and friendly waitstaff. Excellent food, great time on our first visit.
I love the jazz. I wish the singer wasn't as loud though.
Food and service are exceptional. Our server Joe was phenomenal making the dinner a five star quality service.
Enjoyed the armosphere. Food was really good. Portions grand. Staff was wonderful
The food was subpar and the wait staff was very poor
Great place!! Drinks and food are wonderful!’ Love the atmosphere and the staff is so accommodating!!
Overall it was very good. There were a few minor glitches but I would still recommend it and I would definitely go back.
Valentine’s Day - the restaurant did a fabulous job with table decorations, special add-ons and a fabulous menu!
We had a great Valentine's Day experience at The West End. Valet made it easy parking especially on a rainy night. The atmosphere was classy yet relaxed. Wait staff was excellent - friendly and efficient. Food was very good and tasty. overall was a little pricey but worth it a special evening.
One of my new favorite places here on Cape Cod
Jazz brunch Excellent!
We thought the menu was limited.
Calamari was overcooked.
Entree was delicious.
What a superb dining experience we shared! The vibe here is very fun. Its decor is cozy chic, yet you feel very comfortable as every single person treats you as if you're all that matters. Service is impeccable. The cuisine is delicious and presentation creative. The music on the weekends adds to the attraction. We will definitely be back!
Great food and service , first visit wes great!!!!
Sunday jazz brunch, Awesome! Food was delicious and entertainment was very nice touch.
