The Wellington is an everyday neighborhood eatery offering up an eclectic American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive selection of local and imported beers and wines. We offer a raw bar and daily specials. The Wellington has a large bar, comfortable deep booths great for families and friends, seating options in front of our open kitchen, and a large private dining space. We have TVs and will always be playing the game. But you may find yourself more interested in the fun crowd, lovely staff and selection of food and beverages. We look forward to seeing you!

Our server, Dominic, was exceptional in providing suggestions and review of some of the wine selections. They have several exclusive wines that are shared only through the sister restaurants, Il Casale and Dante's. The appetizer selection is very good (check out the online menu). We chose the hanger steak as a special for the evening. The preparation was excellent, the chef's fresh seasoned topping was outstanding. The baked Alaska looked great, although we had the brownie sundae. A great place for a quiet date.

I have a son who has gluten allergies and liked the cheese puffs and burger. I have to say ever since they took the burger off the menu, we found them more and more disappointing... Last Sunday we were there. It was very quiet, which is unusual. Our waiter was pleasant but didn't bring out the puffs which does happen a lot. And it's okay. But this time, the puffs were kind of hard and stale and very salty. Kid's burger came out with cheese on, which my son did not want. I found my burger disappointing. I didn't like any of the sauce, and coleslaw was not as good as I remembered. I also prefer the brioche buns I believe they used to use. I used to love their stake frites and mussles, but they are a hit or miss lately. The stake was very chewy. Although my husband liked the scallops and beans, special of the day comes in very small portion in general. The dessert was a bit off, too. We love their Baked Alaska, but this time, it had little meringue and was torched too much, giving funky smell. This was a good restaurant with nice GF bread but I am starting to not love this place as much...

Went there for the Valentine's Day Special three course meal. Food was fairly good, but there were some puzzling aspects to the dining experience: 1. The first course included Visceyssoise as the soup choice......I had never had that dish before and I was expecting a cold potato and leak soup - what I got seemed to be a pureed potato/cheese blend that was both a bit spicy and served hot (in fairness, it was tasty but not what was expected by the name.....). 2. The restaurant was out of the filet mignon and substituted a strip steak (which was acceptable, if disappointing) - prepared as ordered. 3. It was unclear to me when ordering that the prime cut of steak was to be accompanied by Fresh fries!!! - we were supposed to get potato and veg.....guess they ran out of that, too. A salad was substituted, which turned out to be the second salad of the meal for my wife.... 4. My dessert choice was baked Alaska, which came as expected...my wife, who suffers from celiac disease, was offered a sorbet, which she enjoyed. 5. The entire meal took about two and a half hours to complete (8:10 seating....left for the car as soon as check was settled...at 10:35PM!). 6. Service was adequate, but the size of the crowd seemed to overwhelm the number of servers (overheard two servers discussing how the restaurant had "cut" staff all-at-once instead of gradually). This Valentine dinner is probably not indicative of the restaurant as a whole, but the experience will cause me to think very long and hard before I am willing to return to the Wellington.

Nice restaurant but we sat 25 minutes after our reser ved time, after sitting it took quite some additional time even to order drinks. Okay, it was Valentine night, so very busy, but so what? Food was excellent and the waiter was nice. There are a bit too many tables for its size. I will go back, to try it on a less busy night.

We went here for Valentine’s Day. Our server was great! We were a bit disappointed in the food. Apps were good, when it came to the entrees the meat for both our meals was great (pork and duck) but the sides not so much. Very bland and just not a great accompaniment to highlight the meat. For the price, not worth it.

Although the website listed the opening as 4:30pm, the kitchen did not open until 5pm. The rolls were excellent, as were the pinot noir and the beer. The tenderloin in the Beef Wellington tasted steamed, as if it had not been seared before wrapping in the puffed pastry, resulting in a "muddy" flavor. The frites were delicious, but the steak was slightly past medium rare. We ordered Sambuca, but were told it wasn't served at The Wellington because it was served across the street at Il Casale. We ordered Drambuie instead, one "up," one "on the rocks." When presented with the bill, the Drambuie "up" was $8.00, while the Drambuie "on the rocks" was $10.50. We questioned the waiter regarding the $2.50 charge for ice and were informed it was "special ice" and "company policy" to charge for it. The "rocks" charge was eventually removed from the bill. On our way out, I questioned the manager regarding the "rocks" charge, and was told it should only be assessed for Martinis, not cordials. I'm not sure what is so special about the ice, but I doubt it is worth $2.50, even in a Martini!! We will not be returning to The Wellington, although our friends have been amused by the "special ice."

We have been to the Wellington at least 6 times before and have always really enjoyed our dinner/experience. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed with everything but mostly the food. Our kids (ages 16-20) like the burgers at the Wellington and for some reason the burgers were “off the menu for the next two weeks or so”. Very strange and no apology for it whatsoever. The kids all ordered steak ($31) and they all said it was sub par, one even said it tasted like a frozen dinner. They were so disappointed that they went to Shake Shack afterwards because they were still hungry. On a more positive note, the food came out very quickly and we were in and out in under an hour. Our waitress was fine but added nothing to the experience (very business like). We will not be going back anytime soon :(

Every time I leave the Wellington, I vow never to return. This last time seals it. The food and service are just fine. The wine list is poor, and the beer list is not creative (pity as there’s a great beer store a few doors down the block). The value is really poor— very expensive for what you get. AND, they removed burgers from the menu. This is not an upscale restaurant, and it should not pretend.

I've been many times to the Wellington and never been disappointed. This time I went with a former colleague and we asked if possible to share a variety of small plates. There is actually an offering of this on the menu. We were blown away by Chef Rob's choices for us of which he would come out and explain each dish. It's an experience I would recommend if it's not too busy and Rob is on that night We opted out of dessert being satiated.

Our food was amazing, from the Caesar salad to our entrees. My husband got the cut of the day with a side order of grits, and his meal was fantastic. I had the daily catch - scallops - served with vegetables prepared several ways. Our plates were completely clean at the end! We were seated in the small room toward the front of the restaurant, which was nice and quiet. The whole evening was lovely.
