Great food & service as always. We always enjoy ourselves here. We drive over an hour and it's always great.

The only improvement I'd say wouod be for the hostess to sit people at every other table, given 6 ft distance.

Mixed drinks were perfect. Compliments.
Apps were great. More bacon wrapped auka would be nice for the price. The homemade chili was good and tasted home made (in a good way).
Fish was good.. no complaints.
The steak was excellent. Asked for a medium rare... should have asked for a rare.. like it
a little more bloody. But that is a personal thing and varies between cooks so I get it.
The broccoli was literally the best I have had. Crispy yet not raw. Serious...I was blown away.
The cheese cake was good. I like a crisper crust but again...personally thing. The coconut cake was good. I was hoping for more considering the reviews...no complaints just thought it would be more (don't know what my expectation were to start with anyways).

We are coming back is all you need to know. Bar needs more seats or more seats for people waiting to be sat. Would have spent money there but we had no where to sit and the bar tender was busy with seated customers.

Love this place, and they are observing all COVID requirements which makes one feel safe.

We were pleasantly surprised with an outstanding meal, excellent service from Marcus and music by Jonathan Bloom. What a great spot for a Wednesday outing. We will be back.

First time having brunch there. Food was good but was not hot when it arrived at our table. Music/entertainment was good but too loud, hard to have conversation at our table amongst each other. I’ll go back for another try but was a little disappointed since I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my evening dining experiences there.

A fantastic restaurant! All the 5 star ratings we read were spot on. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be coming in again for dinner.

Steaks were over the top amazing but Side salad was no where near worth $8.! We were there for New Year’s Eve and the wait staff and hostess seemed to have never worked in an upscale restaurant before. We were surprised and disappointed all the way up till the main course got there.

I ordered a ribeye and my husband ordered the filet. While the flavor was really good on both, my ribeye was extremely chewy and tough. I had a bite of the filet and it was definitely the better choice. We wrapped up with a slice of coconut cake and it was delicious.

All of our server (Roger) suggestions from the wine, Earthquake, to the roasted pork was outstanding.
My husband had the filet mignon which was also very good. My two adult kids had the rib-eye which they felt was a little too fatty but enjoyed it.
Cake by Amanda was simply delicious.

Steak had to be sent back twice , everyone else was finished eating by the time she got hers , fish was dry and over cooked , prime rib was undercooked but didn’t send it back

From the appetizers and wine to an amazing main course, this was a perfect date night! Our server was incredible and recommended an excellent wine selection for us to try. The pimento cheese and pork rines are out of this world, and both the grouper and prime rib special were divine! We loved how the menu elevates southern home cooked classic dishes, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Everything we had was great. Staff was attentive. We always enjoy ourselves when we go there.

Food and service was perfect. They had a musician and as good as he was the restaurant is too small to be able to enjoy visiting with friends.

Always enjoy The Waverly. Nothing better than a top shelf margarita and some Wickles Okra followed by a prime cut of beef.

Dinner was out standing . Thr mushroom pasta was to die for. My husband was very sad that the fried chicken wasn’t on the menu, but the wonderful steak did make him feel better. It was outstanding as well.

My husband and I enjoyed another outstanding meal at The Waverly Local. We’ve dined here on several occasions and have always been impressed with the menu choices and the food is always delicious. The service is excellent..friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Another great Brunch at Waverly Local! Tried some different menu items, pimento cheese and fried sourdough-bread along with crispy pork skins were awesome starters, Wilbur's Omelette was on point and the weather and live music set the perfect stage for an outdoor brunch.
