The Waterside Bistro is a family owned restaurant sat on the lovely setting of the banks of the river Tyne. The bistro combines the cosy atmosphere of a local pub with the comfort and cuisine of a great restaurant. The menu is focused on local ingredients and really has something for everyone. This is no ordinary bistro food - think ballotine of chicken stuffed with black pudding, or grilled hake, mussel and white bean stew. There are plenty of vegetarian options too!
