   We had breakfast for four at Waterside. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a glorious time in the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely visit again.

   We eat in the dining room area and we had the whole area to ourselves so we felt like celebraties! Really friendly and great service. I ordered the classic burger which was good and filling. However, we were a little disappointed that there wasn't any dessert available, so we had pain au chocolat which was a little dry. Overall, I would recommend going as the scenery is beautiful and great service!

   Breakfast was good except for the bread, poor quality bread, staff where lovely and friendly. Lovely place to sit overlooking the pond.

   Lovely last minute meal with the kids, bank holiday Monday at 3.45pm just before last orders was very peaceful, we sat next to the lake. It’s the first time we’ve had a proper meal here, ordered Scampi & few burgers, they were all cooked well & good sized portions. The Scampi Chips & salad were perfect, can’t go wrong. The kids tomato & basil pasta was a real let down, it looked like a bisto type gravy sauce, not a fresh easy to make tomato /basil sauce, which was a real shame. Regardless we will be returning, I understand the menu simplicity, as this place is a country clubhouse, but I’m hoping for maybe another 1 or 2 dishes on the menu, as it’s VERY limited. Young staff were good & friendly, beautiful setting next to the small lake, with fish & flower borders beautiful.

   It seems the open app is not fit for purpose. On arrival at the waterside for our booking we were informed a table was ready, but we could not have the High Tea even though it had been booked almost a month in advance. The staff were very apologetic and helpful but there was nothing they could do as High Tea requires at least 48 hrs advance booking. I informed the staff that I was even offered to upgrade the High Tea with a 1/2 bottle of Prosecco which I declined, and this also requested did I wish to leave a message as this was a special occasion which I did notify that it was our anniversary. This was Sunday afternoon 15:45 making it extremely difficult to find alternative dining arrangements. The staff did offer the basic menu, burger or sandwiches but this was not what we wanted. I would not recommend this venue until this the application is rectified.

    We received a warm welcome and had a lovely table reserved beside the window. The quality of the food was excellent and it was presented very well.
