   Very disappointed. We have been here twice before and loved it so my daughter chose it as the venue for her 12th birthday meal. When we arrived we found the menu advertised online did not match with the paper menu so my daughter could not have the meal she had wanted. It was so cold in the restaurant that my younger daughter kept her coat on for the whole meal. There were dead flies beside us on the windowsill. When the waitress came to take our order my husband and I were told we had been given the 'outside' menus and could not order from these. We waited nearly an hour for our food and then had to ask for the peas which had been missed from my daughter's meal. Food was fine. After finishing our meal we then had another long wait so I went up to the bar to ask for the dessert menus. The waiting staff were all behind the bar chatting. I was told that someone would bring the menus over. When the waitress came to clear the table and take our order we were told there were no Belgian waffles left from the children's menu. Disappointed, the girls just ordered ice cream as the choice was very limited. After another twenty minutes wait, the waitress returned to say there was no chocolate ice cream. What was intended to be a lovely celebration for my daughter just left us all feeling very disappointed. The standards in cleanliness, service and general organisation have dropped considerably since our last visits. We will not be returning.

   Wow setting is Norfolk,s best. Menu is great. Food is amazing. Definitely go again.

   Good experience with service and location. Portions were excellent, but food a little on the cool side (alight to eat though). Excellent place, could do with a little refresh such as plants in pots and a lick of paint. Service was without problem, staff were polite and reasonably quick with service. Would recommend.

   Excellent roast beef and lamb. Plenty of veg and gravy. Would recommend.

   We had a long wait at the bar to get drinks and sat outside. We then went inside and was seated at our table. After over 10 minutes of waiting, we realised no one was coming to bring a menu or ask if we wanted a drink, so I had to go and find a menu from the bar. We decided what we wanted and waited for around 15 minutes in the hope of someone taking our order. I gave up and went to the bar, but it was busy so there was another long wait to get served. After about 40 minutes a lady came to see if we wanted anything but I told her I’d gone to the bar, a vague apology was given, but they weren’t too bothered. The same process happened with the table near us. Not good. The roast came quickly, it was pricey but pretty good. We asked for the bill, after a long wait we realised they weren't bringing it so back to the bar to pay.

   Something went very wrong today! One and half hour wait for food, only to then be told there was no fish. Poorly managed. One person serving at bar. Loads of dirty glasses. Would I go back? Dunno!!!!

   Nice food but small portions and expensive for what you get in terms of quality and portion size, very busy and not enough staff although those staff working were brilliant and working very hard to get everyone served

   Delicious lunch in a beautiful setting. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly.

   Beautiful location sadly let down by the quality of the food. Noche, bland and oily. Fish pie uninspiring served with a few chargrilled broccoli stems. Both dishes around the £18 mark was a few quid too much imo. Menu also not as shown on tbe website so don't go with your heart set on something.

    We had a lovely lunch for Mothers Day. The food was fantastic.
