The Water’s Edge – Good food, stunning scenery and a warm welcome.
The Water’s Edge Restaurant and Bar is one of Norfolk’s hidden gems, situated on the River Yare, with incredible views & natural wildlife. This is a wonderful spot in summer where you can sit outside on the decking or enjoy the views from the cosy but elegant dining room.
You can reach us by road or river, we are a 15 minute drive from Norwich or between Norwich and Brundall on the river, our moorings with electric hook up are free for customers, please phone to book your slot.

Food was good, outside pod was comfortable but we had patchy service and had to chase the waiter after our meal.

We had booked a Pod as we had two dogs. The pouring rain made the prospect a bit daunting. The staff were so very helpful and arranged a table in the garden room as soon as we got there. Really helpful.

Friendly and attentive staff, lovely pub food, with a great view of the water. Just what the dr ordered after three hours in a car!

Amazing location to have a bite to eat and to sit by the beautiful Norfolk River. Food was amazing and all the staff are super friendly. Would highly recommend.

Our first time we have been since they changed owners. Staff were brilliant and attentive, food was lovely and tasty. Will be going back again.

Went to restaurant with 4 others last night. Service was very slow waiting over an hour for food. Also 3 of us ill last night after eating. Think may have been linked to the oil food was cooked in judging by meals we had eaten. Disappointing as was my daughters birthday and on previous occasions service and food had been great. Unsure if and when will return.

Excellent food, although couldn't find the crab in the rare bit, it was rare perhaps !! We had the fruit de mer between us, plenty of good flavours, although perhaps some garlic butter/aoli for the lobster would have improved it's overall flavour. The staff worked their socks off during the whole two hour session we were there beyond the 3o'clock kitchen rest! Well priced
