   We took this opportunity to go to Waterlot for my birthday since their re-opening. Although our waitress was pleasant, she missed the mark. 1) We had to ask for bread. 2) We noticed other patrons were given sorbet between courses to clear the palate, this was not offered to us. Was told sometimes they offer it but if we want it, we can have it. At this point, our main course was already served. The Maitre’D/manager came to our table and told us, the patrons that had sorbet had order it ahead of time. I find that questionable. Either you offer it or you don’t. We noticed all the other tables around us had sorbet. 3) Lastly, was not given the option of flavor of ice cream for my sticky toffee pudding. We are booked to go back May 7th for another special occasion with hopes that we have better experience.

I appreciate your detailed observations, which help us identify specific areas for improvement: Regarding the bread service, this should have been automatic and prompt - we've addressed this oversight with our service team. The palate cleanser service seems to have created confusion. To clarify our policy: sorbet between courses is something that requires pre-ordering or we serve it to fill a gap in food delays. We're genuinely grateful that you've chosen to give us another opportunity on May 7th; there will be sorbet. As a gesture of appreciation, we'd like to offer a complimentary dessert for your party.    Our Waitress was amazing, she injured her foot but made sure to exceed our needs! We told it was our first time and she made sure the steak was made to our liking! (Sorry my memory is bad with names)

   Where do I begin to tell you how special The Waterlot is? From thr moment we walked in and were so warmly greeted by Tasha, Millie and Lakeela (?sp) we knew we were in for a one of a kind experience. We had been told to request Raggar for our waiter and they put us at a wonderful table with comfy seats and a great view of all the goings on. Raggar welcomed us with the biggest smile and such personality--we felt immediately at home. We've been to the Waterlot several times before and it continued to exceed our expectations. From the onion soup to table side Caesar salad to our filets,truffle mac and cheese and finally the chocolate indulgence to finish our meal every bite was delicious! We needed a ride back to our hotel and they took care of that too everything was seamless and we even got hugs on our way out! The staff is impeccable! The food is top notch, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming--you need nothing more! You HAVE to go! I also can't forget to mention our waitress on Thursday night---Alisa--what a special person; she's going places Finally, the team couldn't be what it is without its leader Barry--thank you all for making my birthday so memorable Muriel and Kathy Campbell

   One of my favorite restaurants in the entire world! The food was spectacular, the service was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful. Menu choices were awesome and the presentation was breathtaking. We spent 3 hours there and were never rushed. Can't miss this place if you are in Bermuda. I can’t say enough about this restaurant and will go back! Thanks to the entire staff for one of the most memorable and wonderful nights!

   Best fine dining in Bermuda. Newly renovated, but the classic old charm remains. We ordered the filet mignon and it was better than any fine dining steak we have in Washington, DC. Service is professional and attentive. Views of the bay add to the charm. This spot is a must for anyone visiting Bermuda.

    Pro’s - probably the best food you will find on the island, in an historic waterfront location and with an impressive wine list. Cons - our ordering a bottle of white with the fish course and a bottle of red with the steaks seemed to totally confuse the wait staff, made more complicated by them serving both courses ridiculously quickly so the wine waiter could not get to us in time and both wines arrived half way through the courses. We felt extremely rushed through the food, but there was clearly no reason for it, as they had no subsequent sitting - just a lack of thought / coordination. This is billed as a fine dining experience and the food, wine, cost levels certainly support that - but pairing great food with excellent wine is what it’s all about and that seemed a real challenge. Oddly there were a lot of staff doing very little - old fashioned greeters and hosts coming to your table etc, but this is a place with $1500 bottles of wine on the wine list that doesn't get the basics of serving the right wine with the right course or even how much wine to pour into a glass. Disappointing as both the food and wine were excellent.
