   The service was friendly and efficient. But the food was mediocre. The “Bernaise” sauce didn’t have even the slightest hint of traragon and the lamb rack “red wine jus” was tasteless and watery. The asparagus was more suited to going into a wood chipper than being served on a plate! Spinach was not at all eatable….. Music was inappropriate for an up market restaurant. Overall, bordering one star. We won’;t be back, sorry……

   It has been 9 years since we dined at the Waterloo and we were not disappointed. The service, ambiance and food were all excellent. Our server, Patrick, helped u navigate the menu and made great suggestions. We will be back next time we come to Bermuda!

   So I booked my table over 3 months ago and asked for a widow table then. When we got arrived we didn’t have a window table and the lady was very rude about moving us said she didn’t have any window tables! And really didn’t want to accommodate us even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and it was 6pm. Luckily we had the best server ever and he moved us to a window table he provided us with excellent service.

   This is the premier dining experiance (and view) and should be treasured for special occassions. Everything about it is top notch (including the pricing), but you are treated like royality. Highly recommended for a special treat!

    We took this opportunity to go to Waterlot for my birthday since their re-opening. Although our waitress was pleasant, she missed the mark. 1) We had to ask for bread. 2) We noticed other patrons were given sorbet between courses to clear the palate, this was not offered to us. Was told sometimes they offer it but if we want it, we can have it. At this point, our main course was already served. The Maitre’D/manager came to our table and told us, the patrons that had sorbet had order it ahead of time. I find that questionable. Either you offer it or you don’t. We noticed all the other tables around us had sorbet. 3) Lastly, was not given the option of flavor of ice cream for my sticky toffee pudding. We are booked to go back May 7th for another special occasion with hopes that we have better experience.

I appreciate your detailed observations, which help us identify specific areas for improvement: Regarding the bread service, this should have been automatic and prompt - we've addressed this oversight with our service team. The palate cleanser service seems to have created confusion. To clarify our policy: sorbet between courses is something that requires pre-ordering or we serve it to fill a gap in food delays. We're genuinely grateful that you've chosen to give us another opportunity on May 7th; there will be sorbet. As a gesture of appreciation, we'd like to offer a complimentary dessert for your party.
