    Service very friendly however 3 items were wrong. Zero alcohol gin ordered however normal gin served( luckily the waitress realised before it was drunk but this could have been dangerous). No mushy peas requested , but served anyway and lastly lime and soda was ordered but never came. It was a busy evening however there was a lot of staff on. The food was really lovely but these 3 things tended to spoil the evening a little. There seemed to be lots of people serving us, maybe if one or two staff were assigned to a table to look after instead of several serving a table ,these problems may not occur. I will be returning as the restaurant and food were both lovely!

    The quality of the Cajun sword fish was delicious, I could have eaten another serving, it was so delicate and delicious. I had the plum and almond tart, and I couldn't fault it. I always enjoy The Waterfront it is a wonderful treat. After dinner we walked along the seafront as it was a lovely evening. Perfect.

    Really didn’t want to have to write this, but unfortunately the food was way below average (the crab linguine as a special of the day, was incredibly poor and at a cost of £26…), our mains were brought out while we were still eating our starters. Also overheard the table next to us complaining about their food as well. Overall, the entire experience was lacking in most areas and sadly just a major disappointment considering its location (which I think is heavily relied on to draw in customers).

    We are both vegetarians, "Food" would have received 5 stars had there been a wider selection of vegetarian dishes; one vegetarian main in this day and age is unheard of.

    All good overall as it was extremely busy but plenty of staff on duty to cope with it so all in all a good experience

    Disappointing. The roast lamb and vegetables were all over cooked. Meal only warm not hot.

    Very busy and noisy. Our table was by the bar and people were leaning over. The waiters were so busy they were literally running around and bumping into each other. But they were very friendly

    Frequent visitor of the Waterfront. It never fails to give a brilliant time. Food excellent fresh and interesting. Vibes mix of family and evening dinning and service attentive and informative.
