   Delicious, relaxing, and aesthetic! My fiancé got the steak and I got a salad. Everything was made fresh and the server was responsive and checked in with us often throughout the visit.

   Such a wonderful evening out! The service and attention to dietary needs is much appreciated! The Chilean Sea Bass was the popular dish of the night w/our table. Kudos to the Chef for making just about everything on the menu gluten-free! Even w/an on-site wedding and the holiday weekend, the service was attentive and gracious. Can’t wait to go back!

   The attention to detail was amazing. The waiter was very knowledgeable and made the experience quite enjoyable. Kudos to the manager also who came over to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.

   Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant didn't match the beautiful view and decor. Our appetizers were delicious and came in a reasonable time. However things went down from there . We waited a very long time only to be served undercooked sea bass which we had to send back.Thankfully the restaurant comped our sea bass entrées. Wehad a beautiful table by the water but were disturbed repeatedly by the door to the outside being left open as the server went outside to serve customers there. It was a cool evening so the cold air didn't help. I would like to believe this was an off night for this restaurant and not the usual experience. However it would be hard to recommend this place based on our experience.

   Really enjoyed it! We sat next to the glass overlooking the pond - it was beautiful. The ambience was really nice. Good wine selection. The food was a bit of a mixed bag. The sea bass and duck were terrific. The appetizer was heirloom tomatoes and burrata carpaccio. The tomatoes were tasteless (pretty typical these days for heirloom tomatoes) but the flavors could have been boosted/sweetened with some aged balsamic (it was just regular balsamic). Overall, it didn't have much flavor - we'd recommend choosing something else. The creme brûlée was very good but very small (just FYI). Our waiter was very nice but he had a ton of tables. Not his fault - he did his best! It didn't diminish our experience. If we're back in the Poconos, will return!

    I don't know why I haven't been here before, one of the most memorable meals ever! The food was fantastic, our server MacKenzie was very attentive, polite and personable. The food looked like art on a plate and it tasted even better...my wife and I are always on the lookout for establishments that feature new and exciting ideas, not just the same boring menu, week in and week out.     Upon leaving The Water’s Edge restaurant, my husband and I remarked, “Finally, after 50+ years, we have a superb restaurant in the Poconos!” We arrived at 5:20, so we were lucky to have a window table right on the lake (literally!). The restaurant itself is charming. Dinner was delicious. We shared the Corvina Ceviche, Heirloom Tomato and Burrata “Carpaccio”, Parmesan Risotto (cooked perfectly!), and Char Grilled Prime Pork Chop. Dessert was a difficult decision (they all sounded so good!) but I chose the dessert special, a torte with cake, mango, and coconut. It has to be the most delicious dessert I have ever tasted. The flavors were astounding; even the mango was at its peak of ripeness. Oh, the wine selection and cocktails are superb!!! Needless to say, this is our favorite restaurant anywhere!

    Great food great service we were the only diners on a Wednesday evening. My wife had the fish and I had the short rib pasta. Big servings and very tasty. Manager stopped over for a chat which was nice. The adjacent bar was playing loud country music which detracted from the lovely waterside table ambience.

    Great food we did the chefs tasting. It was well worth the price. Had seats right by the water. Wife loved it. Table behind us was loud nothing the restaurant could do. Waitres was very friendly and attentive.

    I've never had lobster cooked as perfectly as it was for the lobster risotto. Ambiance was great and they had a guitarist playing live music who was excellent but unobtrusive. Drinks were excellent as was my husband's steak.

    This was our first visit to the waters edge, and we could not have been more delighted! Rob, the manager and bartender made a superb gin, ginger lavender infused cocktail that was completely unique and delicious! He could not have been more attentive and went around checking on everyone’s experience several times to ensure everything was satisfactory. We had a hard time choosing which entrée to get on the new menu which changes quarterly as it had so many original options . Our appetizers and entrées were absolutely delicious and service was excellent ! We definitely will return again soon with friends as this was a terrific experience in a very intimate and beautiful setting overlooking the lake ! Highly recommend!

    Everything was just perfect!!! Our server Ehrin was amazing and so kind. The bartender Rob made gorgeous drinks that were so tasty. The food was incredible. I totally recommend the Mac and cheese appetizer. The desserts were great definitely save some room. We got the homemade ice cream feature and WOW!! Can’t wait for my next visit.

    Patrons at the bar were a little loud, but our reservation were at 8:30pm so that’ll happen anywhere. Outstanding food, extremely friendly service, 11/10 experience. I will be back anytime I visit the Pocono area :)

    The staff and food here was amazing! They were very helpful and gracious for our table of 4 kids and 2 adults and provided prompt service. The location along the lake was serene and just what we needed. Also, thanks for helping to find my wife's keys!!! Would recommend this place to anyone.

    The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The only problem was that unless we had sat near the window, which we didn't, we had to turn our menus to read them. It was that dark and the tiny candle on the table did nothing to help. Please consider improving the lighting!

    My wife and I have been to the Waters Edge several times now and each time is as good, if not better than the time before. They change the menu offerings often, so I like to try different things. Their Cornish Game hen with risotto is a favorite of mine. The steak is ALWAYS Great. I’ve eaten the Rabbit over Polenta when it was on the menu and it was Fantastic. Last night I had Lobster and Papardelle with a Tarragon Lemon cream sauce. OUSTANDING! Love This Place. The service is Always Great Too. You will not be disappointed. Cheers!
